  1. Actually right now I am using the factory dash and door speakers. The only ones I have installed is the rear JL C2 6x9's. I had to mount my JL 61/2's and tweets to a custom bracket to make them fit the door 6x9 location. I'm now ready to take out the factory door 6x9's and install my 61/2's and tweeters. Now I gotta get some JL 31/2's for the dash. All in all in sounded decent running the factory highs but they can't keep up with the rear JL 6x9's. I had to move the fade to the front a couple of clicks to make it sound right. Whenever it rains again and my business slows down I'm gonna mount the door speakers and crossovers then it should sound as good as it did in my last car. And I like rear fill it takes a lot to keep up with this 13w7. Just 2 JL 61/2's and tweets want do it.
  2. How is it irrelevant? I need to know what ohm cause if there 2 8ohm speakers running off one channel at 4ohms and I replace them with 2 4ohm speakers my alpine head unit and power pac doesn't drive 2ohm loads as far as I know. I don't have the paper work or anything that came with the power pack but I know it was rated for 50x4@4ohms.
  3. Holly shit 425lbs was my max squat in high school that's a bad bitch right there. Now I have trouble squatting to take a dump lol I'm old as shit.
  4. I would go with a ported box 4th order is usually hard to tune from what I have been told but don't quote me on that I'm no expert. Most 4th order boxes I have seen where for huge builds where they fill up the back of a Tahoe so a smaller 4th order may be easier. I know my friend who owns pj's car tunes said he did a computer model of his for 6 Memphis mojo's and when he built it the thing turned out to be tuned really high like a burp box. He ended up just doing a wall of slot ports.
  5. I already have the JL components for my doors. I just need to know what ohms are the factory speakers. Do the factory door speakers, and dash speakers run off the same channel, like a component set at 8ohms a piece for a 4 ohm load combined, or are they separate speakers that are 4ohm. SSA has a sundown replacement for the dodge dash speakers but it doesn't say what ohm they are.
  6. I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger and need to know what ohm the door and dash speakers are. I'm replacing the door speakers with JL C2 61/2's components and I have a Alpine hu 137bt with add on Alpine power pack powering my speakers. I have already replaced the rear 6x9's I'm just wondering if the front stage is 2 ohm speakers instead of 4ohm like I'm gonna use to replace, and if this will cause me problems. I already have the factory's playing off my alpine hu and power pack.
  7. 2013 Dodge Avenger speakers what ohms?
  8. Ow no I'm good I'm just joking around with you guys, if you can't laugh at yourself, what's the point. I'm a thick skinned hillbilly from Kentucky, it's gonna take more then some bass heads giving me a hard time over my lack of technology skills, to run me off. Carry on.
  9. Fuckin a papaw!
  10. wow, you guys are kind of hard on the new guys. Yes I have never commented on a forum in my life, so I made a mistake and didn't see the date, but no need to get ill about it. I was actually laughing at myself I thought it was funny that a old fart like me couldn't use technology imagine that but I'm figuring it out.
  11. I know how it's spelled I was kidding and in Appalachia where I'm from they call it old timers instead of Alzheimer's. Kind of like up north they say soda and down south they say pop.
  12. Mean while I'm over here lost like a old man with old timers in a nursing home. This is the Viagra blog forum for old farts with limp noodles right??? Lol
  13. There always one in every crowd!!!
  14. I need that bc3500 crescendo amp you have. I can't seem to find one any where. What's up with that?
  15. Well I'm old it could be a problem on my end lol I'm old to the bass scene but new to the blogging or forums or what ever it's called.
  16. What the hell this shit is years old why did it pop up and say 6 hours ago it was posted. It even said new in the forum head.
  17. I'm like edouble I would use 2 15's or 2 18's for 5k watts+ in a suv. Should be plenty of room for a huge box and a couple of battery's. I would measure first see how many cubic feet you have for a box then match the biggest subs you can fit to the power you have. 2 15's at 2500watts a piece should move a ton of air.
  18. Holy sh!t that's gonna bang. I wish I had the room for such a huge build I have always wanted a wall but have never took the leap from trunk, and hatch to wall. I think I'm going to do a 2-18"s or 3-15"s in my work car. I already have a nice all JL system in my new car but I want a spl system in my hooptie.
  19. Sundown team 18" SSA evil 18" or Incriminator 18" would be my choice any of those is on a crescendo 5500 is gonna be rediculously loud. Your gonna need some electrical upgrades to support a 5500 watt amp. Big 3 Altenator and rear battery.
  20. Good to know.
  21. What's up with the crescendo amps? Is it the factory that can't keep up with demand or is there a problem with shipping. I read some where there was a strike going on in some shiping ports is that the problem? I been trying for a while to get a bc3500 cause I already have one and want matching amps. Had I known they would have been hard to get I would have went another way.
  22. I was thinking about trying 2 15" evils in my work car in a wall. But I could probably only support a 5k amp on the electrical, think they would do ok on 5k.
  23. Looks like a mean little speaker. Or should I say evil.
  24. Yea I noticed he was kind of a dick to people commenting on his stuff. Good to know it wasn't just me thinking that.
