  1. So if I don't FOLLOW the pack and agree install is everything, I'm the close minded one. Hmm, I'm not sure I follow your logic. I think crossovers are more important. Now I'm not saying install isn't important it is but it's not everything as all the forum guys say. Let me drop some knowledge on you, here is where that wrong saying come from, guys couldn't fix the problems that cars cause with imaging, soundstage, frequency response, and off axis response with crossovers so the only thing they could change was INSTALL which is why they think it's everything. I say fix the problems with crossovers as they can do far more then install ever can. I'm sorry if I offend you, I just don't follow the same old forum pack.
  2. Not really. Why does everyone keep saying install is everything?
  3. Really? Where resorting to being grammar and spelling NAZI'S now. It's a stereo site dude not encyclopedia britanica.
  4. Take it up with yourself there "SSA tech team", cause it locks up if you accidentally hit the wrong area, and it want let you do anything until you post. I even tried to close the entire site, and internet, and it pops right back up as soon as you come back.
  5. Wow,o that's a hell of a box. Deffinetly one of the more intrecate Designs I have seen bravo my man!
  6. Better make that call quick he will definitely need help after dealing with Sean.
  7. Yes I always run my subs facing the back if I can. They always seem to be louder that way.
  8. Well I don't lift any more but I work 2 jobs and one of them is physically demanding so that alone keeps me strong. Not only do the cars get buff I do to.
  9. It will work, at that high of a db level I don't think your going to notice staging that much anyways. Now if you don't crank it and listen at low to moderate levels then I wouldn't do it just because your using different drivers off axis and on axis.
  10. If there close to the same location and they are the same exact mid I don't think it would hurt staging. I have run passive mids that way and honestly couldn't tell any audible difference but all vehicles are different. It may take a little trial and error to find out for sure.
  11. That's the plan my man. I spend 7 to 16 hours a day in this car, so good tunes are a must. I will try and post some picks when I get it done but it will be a month or two.
  12. I had a couple of cheap tweeters laying around with built in inline crossovers so I removed the factory tweets in the window post and installed the 1" ct sounds Messo tweets. It deffinetly helped Brighten up the sound. Which the factory pioneer mids ain't bad at all the shake the door panels pretty good and have some decent bass to them. All I need now is Subs, amp, 1-2 battery's, box, and a line driver to supply the amp a signal from the factory head unit.
  13. Ok cool thanks man I appreciate the advice. And yes I bet 2 ethos 12's on a synergy or twisted 3500 would be rediculous in my little Cruze. I think this car is gonna be real easy to make loud. I already added tweeters to the factory mids and it brought it to life. Lot of leather and plastic and no fabric to soak up the sound waves. My dodge is a hard car to make loud, all the cushiony seats and door trims seem to just soak up the sound. I know my other dodge the same exact system came out of was definitely louder and hit harder. Which part of it is sub and speaker placement, the factory pro wedge is so big I had to lay it down and fire the 13w7 at the trunk lid.
  14. Yea just like when I didn't own a car, or a system, and posted pics of both. Yea real liar I am. Dick head!
  15. I have heard people having trouble with DSS. But others do say the ethos is a great sub for spl/sq. Anyone have any experience with resilient sounds subs. There specs look good for their price only thing I don't like is the efficiency. 86.5spl/1m would probably be hard to push to it max xmax.
  16. Yea just like when I didn't own a car, or a system, and posted pics of both. Yea real liar I am. Dick head!
  17. I don't rip every company apart, just the ones selling the (I did it to brands), which is 90% of the stuff out there. And I actually like some of their stuff, just not the fact they try, and pass it off as original. And yes I'm burnt out on the main stream stuff, it's to much money for the same old stuff. Kicker, JL, Fosgate, Orion, etc. I just want to try something different for a change. And I wasn't talking about all of SSA just M5 and his 2-3 followers. I have said many times everyone else is very helpful. And trust me I have tried and tried to let it go but dude always comes in to a perfectly good discussion to change what I'm saying, so he can say I'm wrong and start a argument, and yes I do indulge him I guess. And as far as CCA, it works just fine for a low power system for a while. But I wouldn't use it on my amps, or anything but my front battery, to the back battery. And like I said, I don't keep cars very long, so it ain't got time to degrade much. I can't speak for anyone else, but I have had good luck with it, no voltage problems yet.
  18. Anybody want to discuss my up and coming Cruze system, or is it just gonna be me, and Shawn taking shots at each other. Anybody got any other good subs I haven't seen or heard about that could give me loud, relatively cheap, and efficent bass?
  19. I think I have wondered into a entire website of trolls, with 1 or 2 good guys just trying to earn a living. (Arron, Mark).
  20. Yea I don't like those fart cannons either. I like a nice low rumble that's not over powering.
  21. If setting in a huge brick almost paid for, while owning 4 almost new, pimped out rides is being held back, sign me up. And you where acting like an ass, and arguing on here long before I ever came along. Hell your known through out the internet for being dick heads. I have never read Billy Jack anywhere on the net but I see plenty about M5 and those arsehos over at SSA. And they always say Arron is ok but the rest of them are dickheads. Just like you to try and spin things around and make me out the bad guy when there's litterely thousands of pages of text of you being a prick. Basically all you do is start arguments, then say the same old shit over and over. Your 5, and reading comprehension are your favorites. There must be 10000 lines of you saying that to 5000 different people. Let me let you in on a little secret, if you think everyone around you is a arseho but there telling you your the arseho, I doubt the whole world is wrong and your right. Just look in the mirror or in this case read your text and see who the arseho here is. And just because you got 2-3 ass kissers backing you up don't mean nothing, just means there brainwashed kids who like to follow the heard.
  22. Another perfectly good conversation derailed by you, and your nut huggers, what a surprise. And I made my point perfectly clear, ain't my problem you goobers can't comprehend simple English.
