  1. Guess the online port calculator proved me wrong. It told me I needed 8.2" @ 3" ID for a 32hz tune (leaving 4" from back of port). And I did flare the port pretty damm good for a first try
  2. These things are super smooth and do handle more power than I'd have presumed but the output isn't quite enough for me. I knew that they weren't going to be nearly what I'm accustomed to but the mids/highs seem to overpower them on about 320watts with subs seeing about 1800/2K
  3. Have some more tweaking to do but should be playing tonight!!!!!
  4. Started my box for the pair that came Thurs. Beefy little jokers that's for sure. I've got about 1.55 cubes before port and sub displacement to work with. Going to try precision ports. I've got 12" of depth, 22" length, and 14" width (and yes this is ID specs not OD). Calculated a 3" ID @ 10.2"L. Does this sound right for 32hz or am I off? Is there anything else I should consider?
  5. Guess I should have looked better in the store!!!
  6. Who would be the best person to get a ported box design drawn up for these two F8L?
  7. Thanks. First 8" subs ever and hoping they will do what I'm hoping for. Big installs to a small setup but hoping for a surprising outcome. No more toys like I'm used to since a little man is on the way!!!
  8. Looking forward to the pair I just ordered! Two on about 2k in my 4 door S10 to replace the HDD12 that the car seat is pushing out!
