  1. LMAO. I was talking to him on aim. And aside from a port diffence that is pretty much exactly the same box i suggested haha
  2. Haha, hey chad do you happen to have a program that could make up a box for me. Besides like sketchup im looking for something a little more detailed with the dimensions, the inside of the box, the port lengths, etc.?

x2 Firefox is also way more secure.
  4. Buy a new laptop IMO, it will probably cost the same or more just to replace that motherboard.
  5. i only have 1 sub though =)
  6. Either the body style before the newest chevy one and dodge also. Those measurements would be awesome if you can get them jason. Like this Or Like this
  7. What kind of amp does he have?
  8. I plan to wire my sub to my amp like this, My question is, would it be the same if i ran 1 positive wire out of 1 positive terminal on the amp into 1 positive terminal on the voice coil and the other positive terminal on the amp to the other positive terminal on the other voice coil and the same for the negative?
  9. How about something like this? Im not sure if this will even work its just an idea i had and i didn't calculate the port or cubic feet but it can easily be figured out. Its 24" wide, 17.5" tall, 18" bottom depth, 2" inch top depth. I tried to do it on an angle to where you can still fit your sub in it.

Yes, and also whenever you scroll down the banner at the top of the screen follows you down and sometimes blocks out things you are trying to read.
  11. It will take 2-3 days after they get your order to make the sub and then ship it. I would order it now but thats just me.
  12. You could easily fix the crooked amp by taking the screws out and putting a level on top of all 3 to level them out. Also, where did you have it installed where they used sundown amps? I have asked all the local car shops hear if i bought equipment would they install it and all of them said no. Who cares though i want to install mine anyways lol.
  13. What are you goals, which subs are you talking about, what amp are you talking about, what kind of music do you listen to, what kind of box will you be using. Those are some questions that will help us help you decide better.
  14. Oh, i just thought as a new member to SSA you wouldn't just come in my thread and be rude. I spent all of 10 minutes designing all 3 of these and as stated they are DESIGNS. They aren't blue prints, im not a sketchup expert it was actually my second time using the program. But by me placing these images on here, i believe everyone on the forums understands the basic designs of the enclosures i am trying to show.
  15. huh? You just hit the print screen button on your keyboard and then paste it into paint.
  16. If your looking for all the stuff you need to hook up your amp, fuses, wire etc. I got this http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KLM-AK0 Its a kit that comes with 17' of 1/0 in blue and another 5' of 1/0 in silver for your ground. It also came with the fuse and fuse holder you need to put in between the battery and the amp. And comes with a few ring terminals.
  17. I know this isn't an SSA product but i didn't want to make another thread. I got my amp today, expecting the old style SAE-1000D. This is what i got. SAZ-1000D Anyways, didn't even know they had a SAZ-1000D, was expecting the old style SAE-1000D. Nice surprise.
  18. I don't know what kind of truck yet, as i am getting it for christmas, but i know its either a late body style dodge or chevy. I have thought about a down firing and back port but haven't really seen anyone do them. Do you have any pics of your center console boxes? I have also though about building a console box and i think that might be a better way to go.
  19. Alright so i was messing around with sketchup and i think i have decided on what enclosure designs i want. Specs are not perfect im just aiming for design right now. I want opinions of which you would get or which would work/sound better. Keep in mind its going in a full size standard cab truck #1 #2 #3 (I wont have both ports just didn't know if it would be better to port it on the top or bottom.)
