3/4 or 1" inch MDF although i would go with 3/4 but thats just me. Also your going to need to use glue to put the pieces together and also use screws on top of that. You can find some guides for making boxes just do a google search.

Hey, welcome to ssa. I am getting a regular cab truck with the same amount of space you have for christmas. I purchased the SSA 10" icon and the sundown sae-1000D. They come in a package and cost about 580 for both shipped. I am going to be putting them in a box about 1.25 cubes tuned to 32-33 hz. That might be something to think about. You can download google sketchup free (just search it on google). Its not to hard to figure out and comes with a tutorial.
