you can look on the team page for a picture of my enclosure but its 3.35cu/ft per sub after displacement and tuned to 30hz. Daily they are on my 3000d which with my charging system id assume 3k+ but i think they can take more honestly. The can take an extreme amount of abuse without getting stinky. I could seriously count on one hand the times ive smelled the slightest smell coming from them.

So its time to finally do this review. First things first Mark and Aaron are great guys who run an honest business and sell amazing products. As of now they have been in my car play music for a year and half. They are still in perfect working order and the spiders and surround remain firm. Coil has no signs of wear and there is no mechanical noise what so ever. These play music for me daily and i mean every day and they get a good bit of abuse on the weekends ejecting people from my car. I can honestly go to say they can play anything and everything with extreme precision and authority. I cant speak enough good things about them nor can anyone who gets to hear them. I have so many comments from people telling me its ridiculously loud it is but i can tell what its playing. To me that's the pinnacle of this driver and it hits it to a tee. If your looking for a new driver give it a try im sure you wont be disappointed. If anyone has any questions ill be willing to answer them.

haha yeah it looks that way but its a really odd tone that the camera didn't pick up at all id say the same but as soon as i turn the volume down it drops. its seriously loud after i got a big power upgrade

Me and a buddy were driving around the other day and he was taking some videos this is the only one we got up but enjoy. The DC alternator made a huge difference cant wait for a bigger amp one day.

Got it in and damnnnnnnn. Worth every last penny ill promise you that. Sitting at idle it wouldn't go below 13.5 at 1800rmp it stayed above 14 the entire time. This is even after 10-15min play i'm simply stunned by how powerful and how steady a voltage this thing puts out. Ill never go anywhere else for an alternator. age old saying you get what you pay for.

Have you ever considered at idle when your listening to music the alternator is putting a pretty heavy load on the motor especially with a small 4 cylinder. Every time the bass hits hard its taking that much more current thus your alternator strains the motor even more. Besides that check your thermostat and fluids.

I went through the same problem but mine had a bad bearing to start. After that it went out in one day and stopped charging all together. Needless to say i returned it and demanded a full refund of the product which they did in a few days. They have great customer service and fast shipping but don't order an alternator from them nothing but bad stories. My DC xp230 will be here today as a replacement i know its gonna be good and do as advertised.

So who has a new aq3500d.1 and how do you like it? i cant stop drooling over it and for the price i want it. Does it do rated or more? I just need some more power... welll.... not neeed but i sure want some hahaha

Im hoping man... they look to be more solid products than any other company. may be pricey but they use the top components and they use there own casing for the ford 6g if you get the xp series.

Well i sent the piece of junk db electric alternator back and went for a dc. cant wait for it to show up ill be sure to get pictures and even a video. from everything i see it should be awesome cant wait.

There cs is awesome i sent it back the other day. They were very helpfull and very suprised to hear that it was grinding. They said it would be fixed or they would send a brand new one. Other than that it was putting out rated when i clamped it and it was charging at 14.5 - 14.7
