Ill try and get some more this week my 90bt took a big shit on me so in the process i striped the car down to nothing trying to figure out the problem. Sure enough the rca shields aren't grounded to the case so i gotta fix that tomorrow and reinstall everything. Battery's, amps, rca cables, remote wires, box, sub's, and who knows what else.

Got some good updates. Finished up the pods the best i could for now i think they turned out pretty good. Also picked up some battery's at roush yates racing that were used for testing on 4 tracks so they have minimal use. Oh and they were 75 bucks for all 3 of them haha. Im hoping the 132 A/h and 360min reserve will do the trick for the 1500d.

I gotta see this thing in action... i cant wait till i can afford more power mine are hating me.

put the meter on the shields and the case, sure enough you were right man. No ground at all i guess the internal fuse popped so ill just fix it like mentioned above.

Well guys my avic's outputs took a shit today. Have a horrible alternator wine no matter what i do and its putting my 1500d into protect. Plugged up the ipod to both amps with the car running and no problems with either amp. Ive tried everything from different rca's to different remote wires and nothing seems to work. you guys got any ideas?

The man is correct the are way way underrated. on a 12 volt system with a steady current supply the will easily do 5500. What you also have to remember is that this is a balanced current servo amp and its A/B which means it almost puts the same power down from 1-4 ohms.

isn't that the god honest truth.... i gotta say iv herd a ton of DD's and to this day im not impressed at all. For SPL i think they do great but they come at a ridiculous price for the model that would compete with the x-con. Local dealer says around 600 for a 9500 and im sorry iv seen a few break and i aint gonna wait to get it fixed or pay for there retardedly expensive recones. Just my opinion so no DD lovers get offended. I only go off experience of the product not what people say or read.

Sounds good man. Those RF amps should work like a charm. You may not notice any real gain with the crunch amp but it'll give you a little more power to play with.

I think for the money he wants your crazy you can pick up a better sub brand new for the same money.

id say two 10 or 12 d-cons would do the trick for that price. could always go with a single icon 12 or15 as well.

I just got mine a few months ago.. I LOVE EM' !!! You would have to pry these from my cold dead hands to get me to ever switch to another sub company.. And if the Icons are this good.....then the Xcons would make you wet yourself! They have that effect

That's weird jake id think higher tuning would be the ticket. Ever thought about trying aero ports out? It is on my to-do list once I buy some 6" aero-ports for testing. Sounds like a plan. Id be interested to see the results compared to your flared boxes

yep sure was oh and that's at the headrest as well. does do a little better at the windshield but i forget the numbers.

Honestly man i run 2 15 x-cons and im getting a 145.1 with 1100w so at one third of there power handling they are doing those numbers i think it is very possible to get in the 150 range. Not to mention my box is tune to 30hz so its not meant for huge numbers.
