Been talking back and forth with Aaron from SSA and it looks like ill be ordering the x-cons soon. I think im gonna stick with the 1200d for a bit till i can upgrade completely but im sure with 700+ watts they will still move some serious air and sound damn good doing it. Yeah its pretty retarded what they want for a box down here. Problem is i have no tools what so ever but a drill. I could have them cut it down but i dont have anything to cut it down further. maybe if i could get my hands on a circular saw and a bit ass t-square i could do it but its hard at an apartment complex. If i can get a hold of jacob from sundown and his buddies im sure they could help me out since they are 10min away. they are hard to contact though seems like they are really busy.

If they let me id be game. They are to slow and im pretty damn precise when it comes to cutting stuff. I guess they could if i got someone with some skill and didn't mind taking the time to do it.

its stable below 1ohm my BL comes out to .75ohm cold and i can hammer it with no problems. im sure there is box rise and heat rise but im sure it could take .5 in short bursts. i love the amp personally and its way way underrated.

Well guys im on a super tight budget for my next build so im looking for someone in the Charlotte/Mooresville, NC area that will allow me to use there tools to cut the wood for my next box. Im in an apartment complex and i have no means of getting it done and pretty much all local shops want from 500-1000 to build an 9 cube box and to me that's ridicules. My last box cost me 35 for the sheet of wood and my time to build. If anyone out there wood be willing to let me use there stuff or cut the wood for me for a small fee id much appreciate it. I agree with the others you cant expect a sub to play mid bass tones like that. All i can honestly say is get a few 10s and try higher tuning. Had a buddy do that it dipped into the 80s pretty well but subs still aren't meant for that.

Well this is the start to a slow build first things i got in. Gonna do all electrical first with 2 runs of 1/0 to the back probably one big ass 210ah battery i found in the back on top of a 220+ amp alternator.

We are looking to have the first two units in Marks truck with-in a week. So looking to be going good by 2nd week of March, but once again, there are always delays etc. so that is not a concrete date. I know these are a long time in coming, but they have been through a number of versions and changes, plus with the totally custom motor, it really set the time-line longer then we had planned. The Xcon is meant to be different and original (as much as we can make it). In the end, we know the extra time and work is worth it. Sounds good to me i totally respect the fact of all the hard work you guys put into your products. Just knowing your getting a top notch quality product is worth the wait to me any day. Ill be looking forward to the results you get in his truck and hopefully ill be soon to follow with one 15 then two.
