It honestly sucks when i lived in charlotte i was able to make a few but now living in durham im 3+ hours from everything that goes on. Honestly if i could get a big enough group that wanted to do it i might try and get something going.

There isnt crap in nc that i know of ive been looking forever.

Simply put you get what you pay for. Ill put a sundown 1500D against 90% of 2-3k amps and i bet in the end the 1500D will prevail.

Ive made coils smoke and not be that dark and ive had ones show up new darker. Its all in the epoxy they use to cover the wire.

I think you have potential to break a 150 for sure with your equipment.

Guy in nc if i remember right was doing a 149 something with two DD 10s and a sundown 3k. Box took up the entire trunk space with subs up and aero ports 90ing forward. Not sure of the tuning but im assuming is was high for a number like that.

looks super good man im really impressed. One thing ive found helps greatly is taking a wet cloth and whipping down the area so the woods good and damp. When you bend the wood its much more pliable.

I don't like to down any business but i had sent mine back 2 times for repair at my cost of shipping. Not to mention every time i pulled it in and out i had to get new transmission fluid. Also like to say it never worked to begin with so the fact they so called repair it twice was a joke. The second i got my DC XP250 i could clearly see the difference. The are just plain monsters and never let up no matter the conditions. Ive read alot myself about the horrid customer service but that was nothing i experienced at all. People need to come to the realization that your not the only one that is calling or emailing them and on top of that he is building them. First time i called i left a message and within the hour was called back. Very friendly gave me the run down on everything and answered every question i asked. Impatience will get you nowhere in life and the best things take time.

Thats a really good score. I was able to get a 149.9 in meca with a 7cu/ft 30hz box. I think x-cons are way underestimated by alot of people. They sure as heck sound amazingly good doing it too.

I do believe 8 or 10 of these may be in my car in the near future. If only i had the money lol.

Time for a new box and im gonna need alittle help. Not really good at box design so thats where yall come in handy. I have two of the new 15" BTLs and i know the box from my x-cons are holding me back at this point. Im figuring i wanna go with 8-9cuft tuned to 34 or 35hz. Port area is whatever it needs to be for a good mix of daily and spl. Im assuming 100-125 for port area will do the trick. Needless to say if you can design me a box and the cut sheets id much appreciate it.

Whew man did it come out good. I miss my x-cons but i can tell your enjoying them. Build came out sick and im loving that box looks really nice. I think those are great numbers though i was putting just a tad bit better numbers. Gotta remember to 38hz and 149s is really good.. Now you make me want to meter my btls they are defiantly louder but boy do i miss the sq the x-cons had.

if money allows in the next month or so i may try to squeeze another 3000d in but for now its already pretty damn loud

Drive it like you stole it is a great saying you should think of in relation to breaking a sub in. The suspension will loosen up some over time and youll gain alittle. Only way to kill a sub is simply to much power, clipping, and over excursion. Thats my oppinion

They surely dont sound good compaired to an x-con. Louder yes and have some serious authority. All in all im happy with the change though i want more power and possibly a different box with more port. ill have to give it more time to give a better review since i havent broke them in or listened to them alot yet.
