Well, I'm About To Get A SAZ-3KD From dB-r And Use It Full Tilt Daily On My BTL 18". (I Did This Before With An Old Three Slug Version, No Problems.) BTL's Can Handle Way More Than Just 2000-2500 Watts RMS. I Think The Actual Output Of Mine Might Be Around 3400-3500 Watts RMS With My Electrical.

The CVX Was Less "Filling" Because The Box Was Tuned High, This Creates Less Port Velocity, And Thus Less Air Movement (More Air Movement Doesn't Always Equal Loud To The TL Or Ear). (38hz And Up To Me Is Considered A Fartbox.) I'd Rather You Go Ported, You Might Not Like A Sealed Box's Output. But A Wall Isn't Necessary. Especially For An SSD 15". But, You Can Try A Sealed Box First. But Make Sure It's At Least 2 Cubic Feet After Sub Displacement. Just Make Sure You Follow The Above Guidelines In My Last Post, This One, Other People's Opinions, And The Manufacturer's Specs, And You Will Be Happy. By Traditional Standards, Sub Back/Port Back And Sub Up/Port Back Generally Are Louder In A Non-Walled Trunk Car. (Mainly Because Of Cabin Gain.) Those Ports Look Kinda Small For A BTL Too, I Don't Think There's Enough Area. 29hz Is Low Tuned, It Will Sound Good, And Be Quite Loud, But Not As Loud As Say 33hz Or Around The Normal Daily Tuning.
