  1. If you going to go with planet audio stick to the stuff that was made by zed. I believe zed stopped dealing with planet audio in the late 90's
  2. Man that is sick
  3. If you want it loud and you listen to alot of rap why dont you go ported? Both subs can be ported and sound great
  4. 793 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. What makes this a good amp? Do you use them for your front stage?
  6. Welcome.

In my opinion go with the BTL. I have one tuned to 35hz and it sounds great. Most people tune a little lower.

If your looking for a sq install the subwoofer should be the last thing your worried about. Focus more on your tweets and mids and how they are installed if thats your goal. The BTL is a spl subwoofer that can sound pretty good in a good enclosure. The Q is a sound quality driver that can get pretty loud in the right enclosure. Its all depends on what your goal is.
  9. I have always liked those subs. I had one 15 on a memphis 1000d and it sounded great. Be careful because you cant recone a h2.
  10. whats your budget? RE XXX is a good choice if you have the coin. Tuning that low you could also go with the XCon
  11. The 15 would probably have the spl advantage due to cone area. Why are you buying a Q if you worried about spl? You might want to look at the Fi BL
  12. BTL 15 Ported box we recommend using 3-5 cubic feet @ 30-35Hz. Again use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume You might want to tune higher since its strictly for competition purposes. Its going to take alot of testing with different enclosures tuned to different hz to get the maximum score
  13. I dont think 2 cubes is enough for a BTL. Might want to go with the Xcon. Both are great woofers just have different purposes
  14. I have seen other people on the net steal pics and info from this site. Even though the practice is extremely shady its a pretty good reference point. Alot of people on this site really know their stuff. To bad you cant sue him lol
  15. RidinClean is using them in his Expedition build. Go check out the building Log section. If he doesnt chime in you might want to sent him a message. Im sure he'll give you his opinion of them
  16. old school memphis, old school orion, Fi, Sundown
  17. sound quality installs are more about tweeters, mid base, and processing and how they are actually installed in the vehicle. If you going after a great SQ vehicle. Subwoofers should be the last thing your worry about. Fi Q, and xcon are both good sq subs. There are many others good sq subs but those 2 are the only ones i have heard.
  18. Wow i never thought RF would stoop so low. Im not familar with their newer products. That plastic magnet cover is ridiculous. lol
  19. are those 15's evo's?
  20. im not sure about the slapping noise you getting, we would need more info to determine whats causing that problem. It might be that you enclosure is tuned to high and your sub is bottoming out but Boss audio doesnt make the best products in the world. There in the same boat as Pyramid, Legacy, Jensen.
  21. Im interested to get your opinion on that RD amp. Be sure to let us know what you think when you get everything installed
  22. x2 but im not sure how that would make your voltage drop
  23. its a guy that has one for sale in the for/sale section. its a 15"
  24. still no luck i have reset the unit serveral times and still cant get the multi cd option to come up. maybe ill try another type of adapter. It just funny that the ipod will charge but i cant get it to play
