Welcome. There is alot of knowledge here. The best car audio forum on the net
  2. Im keep my eyes open for that zed mini amp. Any updates on when it will be coming out?
  3. What kind of car do you have? The big 3 will definately help out
  4. Im tuned in. im thinking about picking up a set of these and running them active. I heard the sweet spot on these are 50 to 500hz. Good luck and keep the pics coming
  5. In the 6 channel mode can this amp run a 3 way active system?
  6. Im sure it would work but why would you use jumper cables for speaker wire? Even 8 gauge wire would probably be overkill for that sub.
  7. I believe the BL's have to be in ported boxes. Check out the enclosure requirements. I think its pinned in the FI technical section
  8. I was looking at the diagram in the owners manuel and i have a question. Can this thing really run 3-way active?
  9. I appreciate you clarifying the situation for us ANT. If i decide to go with the SPL tiles i will definately put up a honest review of your product with pictures. Its nice to be able to talk with the actual person about his product.
  10. sorry here is the correct link http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/products/cld
  11. Take a look at this link. Its from a different company but looks like a similar product. Click on the CLD Tiles http://sounddeadener...i-bin/index.cgi
  12. no not really i just dont want to go through putting layer after layer of sound deadener down. I would like to stay around $200 or $300 for sound deadener. Im also trying to cut down on my labor too. lol
  13. I thought with those spl tiles you only needed to apply them to 25 % of the area you wanted to sound deaden
  14. Has anyone had any experience using the SPL tiles from Second Skin? Im finally starting the process of doing a build on a Suburban. I will be running 1 18" btl and i know i will definately need some sound deadening. Sounds like these Spl Tiles will be a better option for me since i dont want to have to go through dynomatting the whole truck
  15. Cant go wrong in purchasing a 1500d. Might have to upgrade your electrical though

Looking forward to pics of this classic when she's finished. Something about old cars and car audio gets excited
  17. You should go bigger to get the full potential out of that sub. Sundown makes a number of amps that would be a better combination if thats the company you want to go with. Sundown makes very nice amps
  18. Thats a ridiculous score.! Do you think the kerf port helps increase your spl?
  19. Oh ok good to see more GA people in this forum. Im in Columbus
  20. Welcome. Were are you from in GA?
  21. It may be your box that is making the buzzing sound. If its a prefab box you will be much happier if you built one to the spec's of the subwoofer. It will make a world of difference
  22. Thats ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont need any more woofers but i might have to pick up a set just to have in the collection
  23. Look at some Lanzar opti amps on ebay. Zed made those Lanzar opti amps up until the late 90's i believe. Those are high quality amps. Very good sound. The newer Lanzar amps are no good imo.
