by correctly on the gain you mean set to what your rca outputs on your headunit are right? i guess just try messing with some settings to get what you want. i would move the ssf down to around 30 it cant hurt much. also move the low pass filter to around 80-85, ive always noticed a gain in volume when keeping the low pass filter as low as it could go without losing frequencies.

if you could could you post what your amp is set at and all your settings. my bl has no problem getting loud with a 34 hz tune.

How much power? 4 of them can be wired at 2 ohms or 0.5 ohms You have enough airspace for 4 of them ported? $52.75 for shipping on 4 of them to you. Brian i can make room for them ported lol... currently i have a 12" bl on around 900-1000 rms. just put some money down on a rockford 1500 tho. so its would probly be the 2 ohm wiring config and with around 1000 rms to the 4 subwoofers or 1400ish to the one bl. just wondering because of the great price. like someone said earlier i might just get them and put them in the closet for a later project.

whats better 4 of these or 1 12" bl? and wheres the shipping calculator? shipping for 4 to 56431?

what kidna numbers are you hitting? and that is in the trunk yea? it's moving alot more air in the cab then i woulda thought would happen from a trunked single 12. i have no clue what numbers im hitting, and yea its in the trunk. but its not moving as much air as i thought. i had one of my cousins sit in the car to try for a hair trick, she had some hairspray and what not in her hair but it didnt work out so well. just a little movement nothing worth tapeing.... but it sure does move that cloth ALOT. i was surprised when the hair trick didnt work...

my box here is my box design for my BL. sounds great little to no port noise. and i know it says tuned to 32 hz but its actually 34 hz (typo). vidoes of it

ok so one night i was sitting around thinking up some new box ideas. i really want to have my sub facing forward into the cab of my car, and have the port be on top of the subwoofer. so i was doing some concepting and came up with this, Pdf of box idea. I just want to know if it will work before i start building i forgot to put notes so.... notes: 1. double baffle front plate 2. round port edges 3. 2.8 ^3 feet of airspace after all displacement 4. 3/4" mdf or particle board used. its going to be firing forward with the trunk sealed from the cabin. thanks, Anton Miller

i would always suggest using screws but a good glue is liquid nails or pl 400 that will never come apart. the wood will break before the glue. it takes a god day to dry tho. the first box i built i used 10 screws to put it together, the screws were only used for the plexglass, the rest was liquid nails and i could stand on it jump up and down drop it down steps and it never came apart.

it does ??? all the time ...i dont ..think so acording to my volt meter on my radar detector i stay above 14 volts at all time while driving with my power acoustik 2000/1D at around 1000 rms. im not saying it 100% accurate but it gives you an idea. when im cruzing the freeway i stay above 14.4 all the time. however when is stop it goes to around 13.5-13.0 volts

how many volts for it to hit 1500 rms. my car does 14.4 volts how many watts rms at 1 ohm would i put out with this amp?

is there any other place but AudioQue's website to buy the amp? and what about the aq 2200? would that work well if i set the gain to around 1500 rms.

how do you know if its doing rated power? the amp i have now says it does 1200 rms at 1 ohm but i dont think it does that. i was looking at the AQ 1200 and it looks like a good amp. but i dont want to pay for it if i dont know its an upgrade..

im looking to get a bigger amp. i currently have a power acoustik 2000/1d doing like 950-1100 RMS. i just want to know how much power a 12" BL can take with all options except the extreme lead. 2 ohm coils. ive been reading around and see that the SAZ-1500 is a great amp for it. but im not sure if i can afford the price tag. is there a cheaper alternative to it? the box is tuned to 34 Hz if that matters... yea i know about the hz being off it was just a typo because i had that in the notes for the previous box design. but i did construct it and put my fubar in it for now and it sounds great i cant wait to put a Bl in there. Thanks for all your help. Anton Miller
