oh nice that's making me want to go even more now due to the fact that I probably wouldn't win 1st in A2 until u were out of it so I'm gunna try to make that one. I hope it works out. I want atleast one more comp. under my belt before the offseason. lol, I'm humble but I'll admit I have been tearing up A2 this year, after the 27th it will be up for grabs. Glad to hear you'll likely be there, hope things work out for you to make it, didn't I tell ya NESPL events are very fun and very addicting! I see myself building for his organization exclusively for a long time to come.

Holy crap! Dave's a "free agent"? Very interesting... Of course I would never wish for Dave to not be at one of your events for any reason esp. for a selfish reason like wanting to even up NESPL appearances, I would take pride in coming in 2nd to him in anything.

I go to every NESPL event. My 1st one was June 20th in Epping and I haven't missed one since nor will I ;-) Why you thinking you may be able to attend? I should be in a new class by then, either stock 3 or more likely no wall, after the 27th I'm adding a chit ton more power gonna start burping tones with min. 4000 watts rms if not more. I'm tired of being under powered :-) Its time to start pushing my limits!

I won mine, he gave them away to the 1st place winners at the New Look show in Boston. But I think he sells them too, think I remember reading a post some where with him saying he was going to make up some more or a new design or something like that, contact SPL blazer.

^^^^^ X2 Thanks a bunch for a fun show. Really I think you handled the termlab issues very well, you never outwardly let on how frustrated you were even tho I knew you had to be super pissed. I know I would have had wanted to power bomb the lap top if it were mine. On a different note alot fo personal bests set today, I know of 5 of your regulars that set new high scores! & I'm sure it was probably more. SO Marcus, happy you came today? You def. earned that 2nd place man had to work for it, but more rewarding that way. Good thing you paid for one more run eeh? I am glad tho that the guy you edged out still got a trophy, it was his 1st comp ever and I think he's hooked, was a real nice guy too. Audio werks did a good jobtoo, was cool of them to buy a bunch of doughnuts and they even had a worker clean the BR a few times throughout the day, I thought was going above and beyond lol. Maybe their customers didn't come out tothis one cuz they got their azzes handed to them the 1st show haha. Not that its anything against the shop as they seem to be an SQ / show car type of shop, not an SPL shop. I don't see some1 with 2 Boston Acustics 10's in a pretty fiberglass enclosure doing well in an SPL format against guys with Dave L.'s box's or guys like Mike from Renots 160 db FTW haha. Again nothing against the shop, sure their customers would do well in an SQ format and or car show. Glad to hear they want you back, guess we behaved ourselves lol. Was cool seeing some new faces today. I am still in shock that red astro van was no more then 1 db louder then me wow. Daves old octobox with one sub smoked it, so sick Ok I'll sign out, was so pumped for today I only slept 2 hours last night and my brain is fried. Thanks again for a great show and great time. See you at Boomers, which is ALWAYS a great time! Night shows are very fun! They are like firework shows with a bass heavy soundtrack.

So some1 other then Dave L is gonna win his class? that will be weird lol. At least it will give me the chance of tie'n him for most NESPL shows attended this year! woot woot! Next year I won't miss the 1st 3 either, cuz I'll know about them lol didn't this year but I know now and I am much better and louder for it. Looking forward to this show its my home coming.

Oh and Thor, for the record, I don't think its easier to get a trunk louder then a van. In fact all of the loudest vehicles I have ever heard were vans. Of course all those vans were walled...

Motivation, hmmm IDK if its a car show too, so since the right answer for you is yes, I'll say yes! lol Friend bailed huh, my 15's are the only friends I'll ever need! Friends FTL (for the loss) they let ya down 99% of the time hopefully you wont have to learn that the hard way. How ever your subs shouldn't let ya down ever (esp. the brand you got) unless you abuse them. You could still sleep in, show doesn't get rolling till noon reg. starts @ 11, but you can come late still getting your beauty sleep. He's running both formats tom. so you get twice the chances for a trophy, plus you'd be in a pretty "quiet" class having only one sub, think you's be in slammin' Bass 2, bet you'd crush that class now that your wired down properly. How about this, I heard that there is going to be a bunch of hot women there that are horny for guys with white maxima's. and finally you'll be able to find out exactly how much louder you are after all your work to upgrade to be able to wire down to an ohm. (on the same meter as 1st comp) If you were 21 I'd say I'll bring ya a bottle of rum, maybe I'll just bring it and "leave my car unattended" for a little while hahaah i kid. I dunno man, I love to drive, drove to Miami from NH alone str8 out, no sleeping or anthing, so its a concept I am unfamiliar with. hmm, those batteries on forklifts are evil, wonder if they could be used safely for a system. Shizz I'm suprised you never contemplated this, I'm sure it would be unpracticle but its nice to day dream.

You know how I feel, but so I am not accused of being biased I will only say that its a good price, well under msrp and cheaper then I have found them on any other site as well.

Sorry, but that is just not true i've seen him give plenty of advice, good advice at that. If you abide by the posting guidelines then people can help. What is more annoying is threads that don't and then the first 10 post are asking about the needed information, then the advice comes. X2 it gets frustrating that so few read the guidelines, all too often the "simple question" threads are the most complicated for this reason. M/5 offers great advice when asked a question properly, he has forgotten more about car audio then I have ever known. He can't answer a question that is impossible to answer.

Thats kind of what I mean, all 3 ways are expensive so it'd be worth it to me to pay the extra grand to not have to instanly disconnect. Besides, you'd have to get a portable generator to charge them unless they have power you can use at every comp you go to, so the money you save would be lost there plus the inconvenience of bringing the generator with you.

damn thats alot of cash for the "cheap" alternative to then have to disconnect and charge with a real charger. Seems almost worth it for option one. Thanks for putting that all out like that, makes it easier to understand. Freaken expensive :-(

Is that paint smooth or does it have a texture? I ask for a couple reasons but mainly because I see you painted the inside of the port. I had always thought you want the port and its edges as smooth as possible. Of course for daily that doesn't really matter, but for me an SPL competetor, every tenth means alot. I have never used or seen the speckled paint in person so I dunno if its a visual effect or they used something in the paint to give it that texture. Same thing with that "hammered" looking paint, has any1 checked that out? BTW I do like the enclosure, its obvious you took your time, nice subs too. I have always loved blazers, as much as I love my scion I miss my blazer everyday, wish I could have both.

When you consider subwoofers with thermal handling under 500 watts "mid bass" When you have dreams about simply driving around with a wall of subs slamming behind you, and consider it a wet dream. When your 80 year old grandmother knows what impendance rise means. When your 60 year old mother demands you install a 15" in her volvo. (thats more of how my addiction is contagious) When you offer to be permanent designated driver so you can take your car with the system. When you make your car a 2 seater, permanently. When you have to ask your passengers if they have a heart condition before you are willing to give them a ride.
