  1. looking forward to getting my amp. now if i just decided what subs i want to use. lol.
  2. thanks for the responses. looks like i'm gonna try and get them replaced under warranty then. i may end up just getting different speakers altogether.
  3. i have a 94 caprice wagon and had purchased infinity693.7i 6x9's for the rear. they work fine up until i actually go to screw them in. they actually seem to be grounding themselves out on the bracket where the speaker goes. i checked all the wires and nothing is wrong as far as i can tell. i think it may just be a defective speaker. any input/help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. thanks for the answer. looking forward to receiving your amp. i've heard pretty much nothing but good things about them.
  5. i have plenty of room for ported, but still not sure. i think i may just try ported. if i don't like it, i can always go to sealed later. seems as if there are conflicting answers for the ohms. i'd want to run the amp at 1 ohm.
  6. damn that is what i call a fast answer. thanks. i am also unsure of whether i want to go sealed or ported. i'm leaning towards sealed because they are gonna be going in a caprice wagon. i want it to sound as clean as possible being that it's not going in a trunk, but i've only ever had sealed so i was kinda wanting to try ported. i also posted another question in the sundown forum if your feeling helpful. lol. thanks again.
  7. i am going to be running 2 12" Q's w/ bp power off of a sundown 2000 that i have preordered. i also plan on ordering a 100.4 sundown amp also for my 6.5" and 6x9's. i was looking at the knukonceptz dual amp 0 gauge wiring kit. what size inline fuse would i want and also the 2 fuses on the distribution block? also for the rca cables there are options for 4ch and 2ch. i am not sure of what i would need exactly. sorry for all the questions, i just want to try to get everything right the first time. thank you in advance.
  8. i plan on ordering 2 12" Q's w/ bp power option but am not sure whether i would want dual 1 or dual 2 ohms? i will be running them off of a sundown 2000. also what size speaker wire would i want to run for the subs? thanks in advance.
  9. payment sent. looking forward to receiving it. i'm sure it will be worth the wait.
  10. i'd be in for one also. not ready for it yet, but to good to pass up.
  11. i was planning on running 2 12" or 2 15" Qs with a sundown 1500. i may have to reconsider that with this deal, and maybe try to run 4, because i'm sure this 3000 would be too much for just 2.
  12. thanks. acidburn you on any of the impala forums too?
  13. what's up everybody. i see there is a wealth of info on here so i had to sign up.
