did you get a load test on the battery?? just because you have a good charging system.... if you battery is F&$KED then it wont matter

The sub is 8 3/4" deep, and I mocked the sub in there with the speaker ring to get the perfect depth, so there is about 1/4" from touching the back wall. And this is my 10th build, so I've just a little bit of experience under my belt. Haha. It's a 1999 Dodge ram 1500. I love the amount of room behind the seats, but I wish I had an extended cab. Yeah an ext cab makes a huge diffrence you can fit almost anything back there. But nice work looking good

get out the multi meter and check all the ohms at the amp and the speaker

Play with your crossover on your High Pass amp. As your mids a breaking in the sound will change. Turn the cross over all the way up for a few days. you wont have much for mid bass but if it stays clean then you found it. Then turn it back slow in tell it starts sounding like S*%T then back it off a bit. If that don't work take that H/U back and make them give you a new one. It kinda sounds like you got a bunk H/U it happends more than you think... I know lots of people that got DOA amps to so don't feel to bad. Good luck man I think that you will need it.

And they are pretty lol. The full finished kerf port look much nicer. It hits lower, puts out a nicer sound. And not just everyone has one anyone can get a slot. So if you want something that looks different than what everyone else has spend the extra bucks its worth it and you wont be disappointed.

you have to be careful with the dip for the trany you dont want to create residence in the box I had a box like that for my chev and it sounded like . MY advice you is to ditch the back seat get more power and subs it worth it trust me. After awhile you wont even miss the back seat.

To me it sounds like you jumped the basket. Push on the cone start down and see if it scratches. if its not that it could be that you got the fomer to hot and created a bubble on the coil. If I were you I would go back to where I got it from and do a worrenty. Say that it was F*&KED right out of the box. Dealers get a lot of DOA S&%T Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

If you dont have the same subs dont hook them up together. I did this once and my amp got all F&%KED up. It got so hot if you touched it it would burn you... Then it died. So in short NOT A GOOD IDEA
