If you are going for output and SQ then SSA is the way to... Ive heard the Icons and the Dcons and both of them surpassed my expectations... Im waiting to hear the Xcons.. I know that I wont be disappointed. If you have the 2-3K then I would say Xcons all the way....

Sundown doesn't make a 600 watt amp. I need one that does 600 at 1 ohms being the dcons are dual 4 ohms. The JBL PBX 500.1 puts out about 780 Watts RMS @ 2 or 4 ohm It would be a really good match. And its hard to finder cleaner power than a BPX.

I don't think that 1/2 cubic foot will make that much of a difference. You might lose a little out put is all....I could be wrong.
