  1. replace your battery that should solve your issues with that small amount of power.
  2. 19.6 cubes @ 29 hz for 4 dp 18's with 504 square inches of port (before the flare)
  3. I dropped a pair in my neon, and they are downright Nasty. my box is tuned @ 31 hz, and they are crushing on the higher bass notes, and devastating on the lows. I got nothing but compliments on how it sounded @ Florida State Finals.
  4. Three Point: Positioned inside the sub, this is the name given to the area where the voice coil, cone and spider meet. add Triple Joint to this... great information here.
  5. and believe it or not, Team Decent Founder has gotten better at using sketchup.... hmmm glad to have you back....
  6. you were heavily misinformed. your setup will be fine on 4g...if you get dimming then do the big 3 in 1/0 as it seems to help. i wouldnt know, setup in my sig, and i have not done the big three.
  7. doesnt sound like he "Blew" it. when you push gently on the cone, does it make a scraping sound? pull the sub out of th ebox, and freeair it at a low volume, you may have warped the former just a little bit....
  8. lol he is saving the best 4 last ... good luck on the new build pimp no new build...not yet anyway...
  9. yes, builds are getting crazy now....
  10. looks like hell, but will probably work for awhile
  11. all of those are sufficent.
  12. good times, more HQ videos will be posted by the end of the week.
  13. http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss207/StrokerFan/?action=view&current=FlaStateFinalsPics055.flv thats a video of bassboxing.....,.
  14. if you lay tape down on the carpets......expanding foam is your friend. then sand that down and paint it black, then fold seats back up, and when you are ready to pull it out, your car will still look stock.
  15. I heard this thing is a little monster...
  16. should get at me, i have some ideas....... did he hear my pair @ FSF?
  17. a buddy of mine drew it up, and i cut it out. if only i had the ability to draw like that....
  18. are you coming to SBN?
  19. but at they say, the show must go on. So after talking with the guys at Incriminator, I had decided to give the warden a shot. I mean come on now....look at it, it seems promising, but seeing this beast in person just brings a whole new respect for this sub. these neo magnets are super strong, i had to play with it......getting screws stuck to em, and even tools.....they were so much harder to pull off than the level 5 motor that has been in my closet for a few months now, its just insane. anyhow, after about 10 hours of modifying my wall THE ti built for a pair of 18's to fit a pair of 21's, i got music playing. at first listen i thought they were really peaky, and i broke then in full tilt for about a minute just to loosen em up a little then i had a buddy sit in the car with his TL. we recently did some work on stiffening my roof......after that, my peaks were as follows 151.3 @ 42 hz sealed and 152.8 @ 46 door open..........not based on displacement, Nick says that going from 18" to 21" will net you around .5-1 db....based on displacement. now once we got the Termlab up and running, i started playing what sounded loudest, because i didnt feel like pulling out my HU to run the sweeps, so i still dont know where the car peaks at......no real testing, and absolutely zero tuning took place. I left the amps gain matched where they were for the Death Penalties. Sealed on music (paul wall - Acid Slowed) it did a 154.5 around 46 HZ we opened the door and played it again.....and it peaked out at a 155.9 at the same frequency. Decided to play beats for my van, (Which is right around 30 hz) and it peaked at 154.9 with the door open. so all i can say right this moment is Holy s***.....I gained over 3 db just from swapping subs? that is insane....... Keep in mind.....when i built my wall, i had a single 20.1 and a pair of RE HC 18's......and it is tuned at 31.17 hz. i have yet top do any modifications to the box, as far as smoothing the inside, or anything at all for that matter. so far i am super impressed.....and we will see if they are like every other speaker that i have had.....if it gets louder the more i play it. Thanks for your time there will be pics and videos up soon
  20. i saw your weather on the news, it didnt look too nice. sounds like you should move operations to tampa, fl.
  21. numbers are low for that truck--either way... I'm comparing apples to apples... we have the exact same truck, i have 2-15's and 1760 clamped watts, he has 2-18's and ?? watts, you should test the power output on the amps to see what he's getting/what impedence rise your dealing with, something is wrong somewhere... with 2x the power you will see a gain if the electrical can handle it..*my box is tuned to 24hz so don't go there either **I mean that in good humor How is your wall setup? subs and port?? your doing a 150 legal ?? i said i havent messed with anything to check impedance rise and by why HE has found im guessing a high impedance rise ..and the woofers might be hating that box... his MT are built to handle a mojo 4K each.. what woofers are you using? i think the way the woofers are layed out is really effecting the numbers.. im sure a non walled set up would make a little better scores with his power.. they work with the vehicle a bit better than a wall . . thats how the subs are laid out in my car, and that thing pounds.... different car i know, but i had MT's in there before on 2k and it was painful.
