  1. more power... my stock 105 amp alt isnt going to do quite enough for my t30001bd sub amp and even if they made high output alts for the 2.0 ss supercharged (which i haven't seen a reputable company do so) i would probably loose a bit of idle power. Either way a 245a alt plus the 105 is going to give me the most power... not including the fact that the new alt is externally regulated so im getting a 16v charging system and keeping all my idle power and my car should never die from the system (haven't figured out how im going to wire all the highs amps thou) Either get amps that support 16v for the high freqs or run those amps on your 12v system.
  2. Which ones are bots? EDIT: taken care of. HAL and wiseguy gone by IP.
  3. Hahahahaha it's all a bunch of roofing products. Which would add evidence to the fact that Fatmat is asphalt based. Brilliant.
  4. putting plexi-glass across the box opening is going to change how it sounds.. unless pete already took that into account.
  5. Have you ever heard of a regulator? All modern cars have them. Unless your car is a 197~ something, don't listen to him.
  6. For $50 I would just go with the 200a one. You'll wish you had eventually.
  7. LOL $120 off normal price? I'm in for one.
  8. Jacob, what can the SAZ series take as far as input voltage? If the Maxxlink puts out a stronger signal, what is the RCA range?
  9. I'll be on for sure later tonight. Mark and I played last night. He's a big noob.
  10. Those work good Mark..
  11. It'll actually be his High pass filter. He said it doesn't hit the low lows anymore. Indicative of a HPF that is set too high.
  12. subs might be fried depending on where you set the gains. Or the HPF might be too low.
  13. nice, a pair of mids for $50
  14. I believe the VFL is less efficient than the Sundown is. Meaning you'll need a stronger electrical.
  15. Make a big box for em and tune ungodly high.
  16. Is this true?? Yup. More of a wow factor amp.
  17. you really only need an isolator if you plan on playing the system with the car off.
  18. three questions 1) where are the climate controls going 2) is the carputer close enough to load a CD still? 3) running a USB line out for ipod or similar hookups?
  19. er, probably. That's a 12v difference. A) you wouldn't have to turn your amp gains up as much to achieve the same output B) when you keep your gains lower, induced noise is lower as well.
  20. You could have just asked us to move This topic instead of creating a new one.
