  1. Ohio Generator FTW
  2. How will that tell us anything? If the amp makes the noise with the RCA's unplugged, what will putting a filter on the RCA's do for him? I'd guess NOTHING.
  3. one post.. one. will get your point across. Two.. is considered annoying.
  4. How did you manage to blow up an ICON already? And why not just ask Mark for a recone?
  5. if it still makes noise with the car off, then it's not turning off completely.
  6. so thaat would be the right wiring even though its says its getting a 2 ohm load in the picture? Correct, the wiring is correct the picture is wrong.
  7. I was gonna ask, why you didn't have an ICON in that list.
  8. Why not just sell the 180 and buy a bigger one altogether? Would save you a lot of trouble
  9. Is your amp not turning off with the remote lead?
  10. Sorry, what I said before is not correct. I didn't realize you had two subs. You need the Dual 1 ohm coils. Wire each sub in series (negative to positive) and then wire the two subs together in parallell. Wire just like that (just ignore the fact that they are DVC2 ohm coils, you need DVC1)
  11. I'm never one to buy things from a dealer, much less let them install it in my car. But if I had to choose between those setups, I would go with the JL/Alpine combo and hope that they don't bend you over and rape you on the price.
  12. One dealer selling a large portion of 8" woofers still doesn't mean 8" drivers are popular.
  13. You need a DVC 2 ohm sub. Wire both of the positive leads of the voice coil to the positive leads on the amp. Same with the negatives.
  14. You gonna clean up the wiring? Only thing I would change is one of the power/ground cables to a different color to tell them apart.
  15. LOL. I don't think you'll have a problem hearing the difference of one 15" ICON over the CVR's. You could do the Sundown/ICON combo the shop is offering right now and save a little money.
  16. I talked to Mark about it awhile back. He metioned that the motor was bigger than the basket would be. And also something about 8's not having a huge market share, so for a company just starting out with subwoofers, building an 8 would not be the best investment.
  17. 2-2.5ft^3 should be fine for the 12" I'm not sure if the 15" has the same mounting depth as the 12", but I'll measure mine when I get off of work.
  18. He means actively amping your front component speakers. One amp channel per driver.
  19. Much more louder? Maybe people would believe you more often if you used proper english to structure your sentences.
  20. so what you're saying is.. these are limited edition SD-1v2's? Awesome.
  21. Do they really come with a blue basket
  22. Why the DVD-RAM drives? Are the backwards compatible with normal media?
  23. wow. ~7kw out of a 3kw amp? Is that good? Did you break it? [/sarcasm]
