I bet you its because the chamber sizes are different. might help if you port the first one into the second one to share airspace. Or use polyfill to help increase response in the first one. Either way, I bet its because of the two different sizes.

So I emailed the seller asking for a lower price. They promptly told me to get lost and if I was really interested I would have bid. So is it worth $200 (plus $15 s&h)? Even with the increase in price I'll stick with Adire for cheaper SQ drivers. If you want to spend some real money though.. look at the Morel and Dynaudio subs.
