  1. It wouldn't.
  2. tha fuck?
  3. It's a $150 channel strip lol. I can't recommend you anything because I don't know what you're using it for. You can't go from a MONO 1/4" jack to a Stereo 1/8" jack. Simple as that.
  4. You have an unbalanced stereo line input on your computer... there's really not a proper cable for this. You'll have to make one custom. 1/4" unbalanced to 1/8" unbalanced TIP (left channel). For what you're spending on that thing though.. you should just get a USB pre. Why do you need crappy outboard compression and EQ anyway? Do it all in the box, or buy quality gear.
  5. Not necessarily.. you're just used to 18-way coaxials making you think no one could ever make an oval speaker that would sound good.
  6. This has spiraled in a downward pattern. Name calling and public defamation is not allowed or encouraged on SSA. If you want to do that shit somewhere, Car Audio.com could always use more assholes. Here, you act like gentlemen/women. /thread.
  7. Have a read.. Its a sticky.
  8. The type of headphone you use with then has a lot more to do with how much volume you see out of the specific player. MP3's in general have HORRIBLE sound quality properties..
  9. I would definitely track down a new remote wire lol.
  10. I'd vote for that single DCON. You'd be very surprised what that little woofer can do in the space you're working with. Not to mention, the money you save on a single woofer can be put towards your amplifier budget to get something with some serious quality.
  11. How much voltage is on the remote wire with the head unit on?
  12. Blonde girl looked like a keeper.
  13. wow 13k post must be an algae eater lol jp Get the fuck out with your bullshit. Be polite and spell like a normal person with half a brain. Your issue is being handled and there is no longer a reason (never really was) for this thread.
  14. Why not just use a port plug and make it pull double duty. Two subs in one room is just complicating things.
  15. Length is a myth. As long as the resistance of the cable is less then that body of the car, you can make it as long as you want. The goal is to get as close to 0 ohms resistance as possible. I like the second option better.
  16. To charge that 14v battery, you need to have your voltage above 15v... You can't use it as your one and only battery for the vehicle.
  17. Old 80's station wagon. Like a Buick.
  18. No one wants to hear you coming. Except thieves.
  19. Didn't you used to be a hardcore AQ guy? Welcome to the good guys if so
  20. If the amps can't be strapped in the normal sense, try strapping them on the input side with this. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_20093_Hifonics_MLX-100.aspx
  21. Pretty impossible to tell you what will get the loudest as your specific set of variables will differ from everyone else experiences. I would just follow the Incriminator guidelines.
