What he's saying is that when your trying to see the different voltage levels of an ever changing frequency spectrum, some are faster than others. Or will offer less voltage output depending on driver type, amplifier type, etc etc etc. This won't work bud.

Why would you want to monitor the output voltage? You know it changes faster than you can blink right?

In an extreme SPL environment... the woofer is going to be one of the last things you should be worried about.

I would remove the existing box you have and build a new ported box for 1 12" woofer instead. You might even go with a 10" to save some space. The SSD fully loaded in a properly sized enclosure will give you the output you're looking for.

You should look less for sexy and more for function.

The motors are completely different beasts.

Keep reading here, some very good ones should come to light. I suggest just looking at the manufacturer forums for examples.

You're going to be throwing 3kW on them... so get the BL fully loaded. You'll be happy with it. Step down to a 2kW amp if you want to run the Q's.

Looks good. Now you have to decide on what type of box you're going to build. Ported or Sealed. Although with your listening habits, you should be leaning to the ported route.

All of the speakers you've listed already have tweeters with them. Stay away from any coaxial speaker that advertises "3-Way" or "4-Way" or higher than that. You want a simple speaker that is a 2-way coaxial. Start a new topic listing the current issues you have and then give us a budget and the space available for upgraded speakers.

If you want something that "knocks", you should be using a ported box.
