  1. Can't really tell you since you didn't supply how big your box is.
  2. A tad larger than the recommended box size for the ICON's. And tune around 30-34hz. The sweet spot on the ICON's is at 31hz.
  3. Like I said, you'll need to do some in car testing with different boxes. No one here is going to know what your exact setup sounds like.

    Tis already being discussed.
  5. The old BTL's are gone. I'd suggest you sell your current one and either buy a set of two new ones, or step down to the BL.
  6. If it's for SQ, you're going to have to do some testing on your own with several enclosures to find the one that best blends with your front stage.
  7. The BTL would be fine with the "power" and the box requirement. The Z-15 is rated at 1000w. So unless you're planning on 2 12" in one box don't choose them. You'd be close to the thermal limits of the Death Penalty. It'd be ok if you're careful on the gain knob though. The Nightshade would be ok with the extra cooling option now. They like smaller boxes though, so you don't need to use the full amount.
  8. Gotta watch out for them jumping curbs. That's why I drive a truck with big ass tires now roll right over.
  9. Two 18's in the extended cab? With port? I'd say you're looking at almost wall size. Face both forward.

Alarms don't deter thief's. Why would you even bother with a fake one?
  11. That poster lies. Needs to say "No Chrome, no Carbon Fiber, no clothes, no BS, PERIOD"
  12. "My Controls" > "Personal Profile" > "Change Personal Photo"
  13. Aaron said awhile back he'd never ask for money for the site. I'd bet Mark feels the same way. If you really want to help support it, have your friends buy car audio stuff from the SSA shop and click a few hundred google ads
  14. Explain please. Pro audio uses them all day long for subwoofer duty. It's even more so relevant with the onboard DSP. No need for a shitty external crossover.
  15. Wouldn't hurt to upgrade your under hood battery to something a bit larger with more reserve. Something not a wet cell.
  16. That calculator was for 12v power... not fluctuating speaker voltage. Its not the same thing.
  17. I can do pictures on Monday.
  18. Fuse to protect the maximum amperage of the wire... NOT the amplifier. For 4awg, fuse at 150A, for 1/0awg fuse at 300A
  19. Don't go by what KBB tells you the trunk is unless you plan on fiberglassing an enclosure to fit every nook and cranny. You'll need to go measure and see what size of a box you can realistically fit in there.
  20. You're thinking of Scott, but close enough. How about outlining what your brother listens too, and how much space he has available. Looks like your total budget is around $750.
  21. I blame users that throw too much power at them (plus clipping), in a box not designed for their woofers application, on a weak electrical system.
