  1. i am asking if there is interest...fuzzypings thread below mine is the same. Difference being.. he has enough posts to sell in our classifieds section and you do NOT.
  2. Ground the rear batt to the chassis or make another run of 1/0awg to the front. You can either use a distro in the back for the power wire to the amps or make a 1-1 run from each amp to the battery. Remember to fuse each 1-1 run though. Ground your amps to the rear battery.
  3. The spider is the suspension that helps the sub from flapping around uncontrollably.
  4. Pretty color on the 12-spoke.
  5. YAY! you got the ICON box from Trevor
  6. You can't just make up a port. And that box is on the small side.. Do a five inch opening with 5" on the L. That should get your around 35hz
  7. That should be good. Make sure to add a couple of Group 31 batteries (like the D3100) along with that alternator upgrade.
  8. Yes you'll need an HO alt. Two to three batteries in the Group 31 size.
  9. You're not trying to sell outside of our for sale forum are you??? That would be a no-no.
  10. Bass boost only boosts one primary frequency. Which in turn causes clipping. Knowledgeable users can get away with using a touch of it by setting their gain with an oscilloscope... but just turning knobs on the amp will damage your gear.
  11. Only one set of preouts means you can't ever amp your front speakers with RCA's. For the price, I'd look at something else.

If the Tinsels are in plain view (ie, not in the spiders) you can fix it yourself with out a recone.
  13. My back is still killing me over some of the angles I had to take these in. lol
  14. Those that actually care about a front stage do.
  15. Really? It does? What happens in 6 months when it melts off body panels? There's no comparison with Damplifier Pro. eDuh doesn't make a product that has SS's vibration reducing characteristics.
  16. I understand your confusion, but after a good experience with the W6... I'd be more inclined to go to the Q. I'm not sure how much space you have, but your amp would be glorious on one 15-18" Q in a ported or sealed box.
  17. You could use a Y adapter if you REALLY have to have rear speakers.
  18. lol, yes it is. Especially if you want to do it right.
  19. You should also consider the Alpine C701/H701 combo to process all that.
  20. But I am going to be taking the factory amp out as I will be installing a new sub and mid/high amp. That is where I got confused. If you're removing everything, then just run new wires and cut the plug off the harness.
