  1. I saw no women and no whiskey. Both would be required to call that paradise.
  2. Good for what? If it fits in your car and gives you 1.2^3ft, than they're good.
  3. What are you running with it and what's your budget?
  4. Nice, the Clarus should do great with your setup. On another note though, you don't have to have an active capable head unit. There are quite a bit of amps capable of doing it as well.
  5. I'd buy a 50x4+125x2 Especially if it had the 100.4D crossovers. 3 way active mmm
  6. If you're going for the optimal enclosure size, poly fill isn't really necessary. You can always add a couple pounds to see if it slightly changes the sound to your liking.
  7. Do the SSD Dual 1 with BP Power and Copper coil. Should be a great setup.
  8. Here you go chief http://psp-inc.com/psp-inc.com/public_html..._calculator.cgi
  9. so these type of grills have been used on these types of subs and do allow for enough room for the clearence of the subs movement? I have been thinking about using these for my ssd's. Excursion depends more on the type and spec of box you use. That being said, you'll have plenty of room with those grills.
  10. You need to calculate the port for both subs. Otherwise the port will be grossly undersized for both subs.
  11. Loctite would work, or a dab of Titebond II. More to the point though, if your screws are coming out, the construction was pretty poor, or you're using he wrong type of screws.
  12. Probably be better to go with 2 4" ports instead of 2 6". If you go with 2 4", use flared ports and cut them at 8.40" each. This will give you a 9^3ft box tuned at 27hz.
  13. Not a whole lot of people outside of SPL competitors buy vehicles to suit their systems. Most buy the vehicle to suit their needs and then piece together a system that would work well in that vehicle.
  14. I'm trying to find an H701. Then I'll just be running components. Albeit, sweet ass components lol. Who knows, maybe I'll like it enough to not even run a sub stage.
  15. And you post no pics? What has the internet come to!?
  16. Are you sure my alternator is too small? I've seen people push alot more power than I got with just their stock alternators and extra batteries. Doesn't really matter what other people are running. There are a lot of different variables to account for. Unless you found someone else with the same car as you pushing more power with more batteries and no dimming, a bigger alternator is the way to go. If your alt can't keep your battery charged now, how on earth is it going to be able to charge the second one you buy?
  17. haha, no.. not so much.
  18. I'd guess you played it below tuning and mucked up the suspension a little. I doubt your receiver has a subsonic filter.
  19. You're in luck http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18538 After seeing a couple of AQ2200D's go poof.. I'd shy away from them. Haven't played with the Soundstream personally.
  20. How does $620 sound? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart...products_id=112 http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?...ath=65_67_69_76
  21. Any reason why you have to go with one company for the sub amp and highs amp? Why not just give a budget and what drivers you're planning on running. Choosing amps before choosing speakers really limits what you can pick as far as wiring configurations go.
  22. A different battery may conceal the problem for a little while, but don't ignore the fact that your alternator is too tiny to really power your car and your system as well.
  23. Looks like the internet hates you. No one makes a kit for the Electronic climate controls Taurus. Don't believe me? Look for yourself. http://retailer.installationexcellence.com...D2&posturl= http://www.scosche.com/what.fits/?applicat...limate+controls
  24. Efficient? Build it larger than recommended. Try out 9^3ft. Your one 6" port might be big enough to minimize port noise. For a 27hz tuning, cut the port to 7.22"
