  1. Pics, or it didn't happen.
  2. Well there you go. Do you have funds for a new head unit?
  3. We've all learned otherwise. Reading between the lines ftw.

Instead of going with the 400a alternator, why not go with at most a 300a and a couple of large, efficient batteries.
  5. I pwnt the new guy.
  6. Well... Just do the inside then. And instead of multiple strips, lay one big one to make the basic form and then use smaller ones to add rigidity later on.
  7. Well obviously tape off the area first. Then lay some mat and resin over it to make your first shell. Then resin the shell to the box inside and out. You can also screw the shell to the box and then resin over it. Make sure to add more mat at all the seems.
  8. And you're basing that statement off of what exactly? Your need to get 25 posts before you can post in our F/S section?
  9. What do you want it to do for you? I've got the IVA-W205 from Alpine.
  10. A wet cell lead acid? Like the kind you use under your hood that lets off toxic fumes that kill brain cells?
  11. And they say Italians don't speak good English!
  12. How exactly was that spam?
  13. Yes, but he also added acoustical treatment to the speaker locations and the doors. And he had the Pioneer P9 Combo to control everything. Not to mention he actively amped them too. When you make that many changes, they're not really stock speakers any more.

lol you don't need a 400a Alternator for one 3000D.
  15. The RE XXX comp set is 2 ohm. But it's spendy and not that great sounding.
  16. Wait, you have to install sound cards in your computers?  Mac.
  17. That'd be a great idea, especially paired with the new Mag. It's a D2 woofer, so you could wire it in Series and bridge two channels of the SAX-100.4 to it. It doesn't need much power, as it's a very efficient woofer.
  18. Well... for starters, $500 won't get you a system. It might get you a substage. Also, keeping your stock speakers isn't SQ. Since you did mention that you wanted something with SQ and that you're handy. We'll point you off in the direction of a Sealed box for now. Since you have the time, I'd wait for the new Stereo Integrity Magnum to come out. It's sub $300 and works excellent in a sealed box. You won't need much power to run it, thus lowering your amplifier budget.
  19. Welcome to SSA, now stop being such a tool bag.
  20. I don't know all of it, but I'm sure you've gotten measurements on the 12 spoke basket before. It's the same. You can find most of the other pertinent information on the ICON site. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/icon/index.html
  21. Thermal compression on the drivers maybe?
  22. There is a guy from DIYMA selling some Lunar amps on ROE. Those things are teen tittie small.
  23. I'm sure there are other differences, however, they're minuscule enough for me to not go and look for them.
