If you wire the Assassins to 4 ohms, I think the 1500D will be fine with them. A better option would be to contact Fi and see if they can make you a custom Assassin with DVC 2 coils so you could wire them to two ohms like this : -

Why do you need higher preouts? Do you have noise in your current system?

The 422 is just for the iPod.

If it's simply a crack you can use CA glue or super glue to "weld" it back together. Pay attention to the endings of the crack, as you don't want it to spread past that point.

I helped on a ICON 12" install in a .9^3ft box I believe (might have been a full cube). Got plenty loud, sounded great doing it. Granted it doesn't have output like it would in a ported box, but 1 cube with a little poly fill should blow away those Infinity's.

To figure out cubic feet, LxHxW Tuning only applies to a ported enclosure and relates to length and width of the port in relation to the main chamber.

Try it and see what happens. If you get some dimming, start upgrading.

Are you referring to SQ or SPL? Most SQ judging is done by ear.
