  1. Yeah I'll just go with Fi because of the outstanding customer service and great products.
  2. How would one of the new N2 Fi Btl 18's (fully loaded) on 3000watts compare to an Eclipse ti pro 18? The one with the 4hp motor. AS IN: In a big ass SUV (Old Range Rover LWB) both in optimum boxes sub up/port back. That's 3000rms too.
  3. Big ass speaker top.
  4. mmmmm.....18" That might be bigger then what I want to move though. =( Easier to move than these two 15's that's for sure.
  5. I want an 18
  6. Happyy Birthday.
  7. The Haiti Earthquake fiasco caused Funky Pups to be banned Did you know if you powered up an 18" Funky Pup to maximum potential a space time warp would open and the world would cease to exist as we know it?
  8. No problem at all, I'm glad to help. Try posting it up in the box fabrication section. I'm sure someone will chime in.
  9. Home Depot sells wood and all the supplies you need. For wood glue get Titebond III and don't forget wood clamps. K thanks.. Also as for box design would fired up and rear port be best in an integra hatch? Edit You must have got your post in right before me lol.. ok thanks. as for a second option if that wont work? I have 30" wide X 32" deep X 19" Tall to work with Well dam, with that amount of space you have plenty of room to work with. I think the sub up/port back would work perfectly fine. And don't worry about all the questions, that's the best way to learn things. Read and ask. Keep it up.
  10. Well, probably quite a bit louder, but it will also sound a lot better. Just remember not to rush it, take your time and do everything the right way the first time around to save you future troubles. Good luck on the install and don't forget to post it in the build logs! No doubt man, I will post in the build logs. And I'm sorry for asking soo many questions but I want to get this done right.. So, In my integra which is a hatchback, what type of box should I build? I was thinking Sub facing up and a back port? Sub up/port back if you have the room. I think that would be the best option.

  12. The Audiopipe 30001d will play at ohm. It is just two Ap 1500s strapped. It can do 1500 @ 1ohm per channel or 3000 @ 2ohms. If you're looking for a great bang for buck amp check out Audioque. So far it looks like you are on the right track. Welcome to the community. Hope you enjoy your stay EDIT: Audioque's website: http://www.audioque.com/aq/
  13. My dad and I did this in an old Range Rover Classic. Everything was fine thanks to all wheel drive and a viscous coupling in the transfer case.
  14. Welcome to SSA. Hope you enjoy your stay. I'm sure you will
  15. That show is horrible. If they didn't have cool cars on there, I would never watch it. It's borderline right now. I thought they tried pretty hard on that show and certainly did a lot of things right, but it is just not the same. There will not ever be a show as good as the British Top Gear. Also, it may seem like the American Top Gear is not very good, but you must keep in mind the beginning of the British Top Gear was not very good either. Just have to keep watching.
  16. I hope you win that insurance case. Best of luck to you, and also a speedy recovery. Hopefully you can work on something new soon. Was any of the system salvageable?
  17. My Home Depot always seems to mess up the cuts pretty well. I've built ... 3 boxes now. I would not consider myself a very good builder at all. It really isn't that bad, some of my neighbors helped me with mine and my friend's. I'm located in southeast VA. Almost North Carolina.
  18. Is it me or does he say there is fire "again?"
  19. Depending on the price, I may have to order 4 of these
  20. Hmm .. For some reason it is not letting me tag myself .. but I did like the photos
  21. Two fully loaded Fi SSD 15's in an 8ft^3 box. Powered by an Audioque 2200d.
  22. Okay thanks guys. And is that a hint at a new option to the SSA line?? Something than can handle more power?!?
  23. My next system is going to be a single 18 setup on 3000watts. So far the plan was to go with the Fi BTL, but the more I read about the Xcon, the more I want one. The only problem I have is that I am worried that it couldn't take 3000 daily. I would be easy on the gain, I just don't want to fry such a beautiful piece of equipment. EDIT: (Spelling)
  24. Just to let you know: You will be astounded at how accurate these things are. Great sub for the price
  25. Welcome to SSA. I'm sure you will find everything you need here. And just to let you know, this is the correct guy to talk to ^^
