a pair of the SoundSplinter orphan 8s ($165 each)would work in that airspace, be recieving around 500-550wrms and are very closely related to teh RL-i/Epic drivers. other then the 8w7, the rl-i/epic drivers are among the best available. also, pay close attention to the soundsplinter forum. in another week or so, if the persons on his waiting list are unable to pick up their subs, Mike has a limited supply of Epics that he will be selling. all info can be found in his forum here. also, the rl-i8 will be back. you'll just have to wait awhile longer. the timetable isn't set in stone and could be 6 months or so out. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, i finished third in my age group, but had to step up to an intermedite belt group (sparred against blue belts, i'm gold. depending upon style, i'm two to four belts below blue)as there were no other beginners at my age. and i should have finished second as i really took it to the blue belt who did finish second. at one point, and jordan i tried, lol, i hit him in the head so hard that i spun him around and knocked his head gear off. i got a wraning for excessive contact. anyway, pics are kind of crappy, but i'll get them up and i should be getting a copy of the vid of the entire match. i can't wait to see that punch, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Warranty? I know it doesn't matter as you shouldn't be having problems with it in the first place ... but multiple friends have had problems, sent the units in, and the turn around time was fairly quick. Yea, its still under warranty just a pain in the ass. we had to send in mini me's 360 due to the red ring of death, turn around was a few weeks and they paid for shipping both ways. even sent the "coffin" to ship it in. it turned out that microsoft extended ALL 360 warranties 3 years due to the red ring of death. anyway, sucks it crapped out, but glad microsoft covered it. and i use my ps3 with hdmi for all hd movies, and blue ray of course. same price as a good blue ray player and much more. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

They are designed for SQ, but they can handle a good amount of abuse as well. We suggest a 1000wRMS amp for your ICON. I'm currently running a sundown 1500d to my 10D2, but of course the gains are set very conservately. If you would like to run that kink of power, just please know where your limits are. Other then that, enjoy. The subs should be in stock in Aug. We will be taking pre-orders on them at a small discount in the mean time.
