  1. I’ve recently picked up a 2021 VW Arteon SEL-P RLine with the Harmon Kardon in it. Low end lacks a lot, so I’m looking for a way to integrate a better sub setup. Again, great work!
  2. Just went through this whole build for ideas… awesome work man!
  3. Thanks denim!
  4. Home? Well, not a big home theater guy, and honestly, been out of audio for a while. M5 might be a better person to ask. That said, with 2 of them, and enough power, larger, sealed boxes would be my choice. Highlight the lows of the music you listen to, keep it clean and responsive.
  5. One topic, one thread...merged. Welcome to SSA, and as you can tell, you'll get plenty of responses, quickly. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:headbang:
  6. Almost 10 years LEO now, and fixing to up my activity as I'm moving to a larger department, pending the remaining psych interview (just completed a 900 question written interview) and medical exam. Passed the physical abilities exam. New department is a Department of Public Safety , so I will get cross trained in firefighting. Took the entire physical abilities test in full turn out gear, except 1 mile run. Heart rate never got above 150, so I know the lifting/running is working. Now to lose this stubborn ass spare tire.
  7. True that!! Lmao, jamming to stuff we wouldn't even consider today.... Speaking of...might be time for a Funky Pup mention....lol
  8. Except for planned rest days, I don't know what to do with myself if I don't lift. And honestly, running everyday I lift has ingrained that into the routine. Although I cripe, I look forward to it. Being an asthmatic, I know every minute running is only helping me out! Not too mention when the bad guys are confused as fuck that the old guy is still on their heels, lol....
  9. As I sit and think about it, he had a Spark-o-Matic power booster thing, 3-ways in the front, 6x9's in boxes in the trunk and some small speakers on the rear deck. Those had some weird slide adjustable volume control thing. But that little car beat pretty good.
  10. Man, I remember Sunshine Audio, Pueblo, CO, did a Astro van with 4 15's. Left front and first row rear seats in it. Sat in the rear at the State Fair, God I was in heaven!! Was Kicker gear. Just had to have it. Friend of mine had a little two door Toyota, Blauphunk (spell?) head unit, and are you sitting down? Spark-o-Matic for speakers/subs! It was actually pretty loud and musical. Well, by 1986 or so, standards,,,,lol
  11. It's definitely hard to stay motivated to run. Lifting is easy, but running?
  12. Got arms and run in last night. Run definitely getting easier...which is a good thing. Trying to change departments, involves some running for the physical testing.
  13. This afternoon will be my first day back in 1.5 weeks, flu + asthma = severe asskicking! Just prior, was lifting/running 2 days, rest, 2 days, rest 2. I stretch and run for 20 minutes just before lifting. I've still got gut to lose and other gains to make..lol. At 46, I'm in better shape then my 20's, save cardio. Also, I'm 50pds heavier, so only grabbing the rim now...lol.
  14. Nice to see the Hop still Hopping..
  15. drive by....... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
