I've run my Zcon 18 on 5k for sometime, but it takes some experience to run that much power without any problems. If you plan on running a ton of power make sure your box is on the small side.. I've learned this the hard way when upgrading power. Lower power = Big box, Lots of power = small box. Current lead time is about 3 weeks excluding weekends.

Birch is lighter because it is less dense... The more acoustically dense the better, MDF in my experience is always louder by a small amount. Birch doesn't split as easy, is easier on tools, lighter, etc If it's for daily use just go with whatever you prefer.

My zcon drops down to 25hz no problem... but you may end up with torn spiders/etc very easily.

The new Mustang V6/v8 are pretty awesome IMO V6 has decent power with great gas mileage... the v8 has great power and great gas mileage especially for the amount of HP.

That's a shit ton of stops lol. Good time. when I would travel from TX to MO I would take 3 stops the entire way and make it in around 7.5-8hrs

I'm very interested in making my own LED strips, anyone know of a cheap place to get some LED's from? SMT Led's would be nice.. Also a place to get PCB at varying lengths

I have used the driver and was not impressed. Maybe in a different install it could be better but I cant imagine it. well im not going to try to convince you. maybe unlikely expectations. The Zcon IMO sounds fantastic, tuned at 34hz but has no problem playing rock (X-Over at 125hz on HU) and it is awesome and loud while still being able to get high and low. I've used many subwoofers and this is my favorite subwoofer to date. I've owned Fi, IA, SKAR, MTX, JL, etc. By far this is my favorite sub, I too have gotten NUMERIOUS compliments on how good it sound on rock/rap/dubstep/etc. The ZCON was meant to have a HEAVY peak down low... it is a ground pounding woofer.

Much sluttier and easier... my kinda of women.
