Voltage was good at the amplifier before and after the initial fusing on the power wire of the amplifier, I swapped out my 125.2 for my spare 4 channel and it's working just fine. i blame the 125.2 lol! will you get it repaired and or sell it? if you are interested in selling it... i might be looking lol I'm not sure as I can get it fixed for free + whatever potential shipping will be hopefully I will need to talk to Jacob.

My SAX-125.2 has completely stopped working. I took a look at it today and it just stalls into protect. Inspected the inside and nothing is blown, however I found 1 fuse blown and replaced it with the same amp rating (20amp) and it is still in the protection loop. The amp was fine until aprox a week ago it would randomly turn off for a second then pop on. There was also a very high pitched sound coming from presumably the amp. any ideas?

You can test your current sensors with a DMM to see if they are bad before wasting money on new ones. If the sensors test good then its something in the path of the signal. I had a car that filled the plug holes with oil like that too. LOL shit didn't think of that. too late i bought the sensor. but i measured all three (replacements and original). but i got some weird shit.. there are 3 pins; signal, power, and low. the original and first replacement i bought have the same values when measured. the newest one has different values. (all in the mega ohm range) i haven't found the correct values yet. maybe i'm not searching for the right information. i could assume that the original and first replacement are both bad, and the newest is fine. however, i dont have a scan tool to clear the code. right now im trying to clear it by disconnecting the battery. i have access to a shitty manual from alldatadiy.com, it suggests that disconnecting the battery is not the correct way to clear that code and that it might not actually clear it. You will most likely have to clear the code with a code reader, disconnecting the battery won't do it. There should be a "assembly data link connecter" either under the hood or under the dash. It will look like a plug with nothing plugged into it. You will want a service manual as it will tell you which terminals to place a jumper in to retrieve the codes. You will also need the manual for proper code interpretation. The manual should also tell you the correct way to clear the ECM. i know a guy with a code reader. ill have him clear it and see if it comes back. If you go to O'rileys a lot of the time they'll let you use one off the shelf they've opened. A local place let my buddy do that a few times at a few locations.

I tried the same thing and it made it 100% worse lol. Some cars all run to the same ground, I know a lot of ford cars are like that. Personally I would make an independent ground. A independent ground from where to where? Seriously need help with this. to a solid piece of metal, also check ALL your grounds, I would ground your HU to the frame also, I would also clean all of your amps grounds till they shine.

I like Itunes too, when I had a less powerful computer I hated it.. Such a resource hog. I ran it in wine for the longest time.

Wine is an emulator and there are limitations and, sometimes, complications whenever you're using emulation. If it's just something you use occasionally, emulation is generally sufficient, but if you need to use it several hours every day, those limitations/complications can make things very inefficient and frustrating.What it boils down to is official hardware and software support of most consumer products. Very, very few consumer products support Linux. For the most part, someone somewhere will have developed a method to get it to work, but it's not always in the same capacity as running it in Windows and sometimes more complicated. You have to do your homework before you make purchases for Linux systems. That being said, it's not terribly difficult to learn and there are definite upsides to Linux. Most distributions are free to use, which is a big plus if you build your own machines. You're far less likely to be affected by malicious software while using Linux and Linux is renowned for stability, which can save you time and money. Makes sense. Same principal as running Windows software virtually on a Mac. If it's something you need frequently you're better off using the OS it was meant for. So, when deciding to run Linux it's probably a good idea to check what programs that are important to you for compatibility or alternatives, if I'm understanding correctly. Yeah it's certainly not for everyone, and what programs you use and NEED has to come into consideration. Programs I use: filezilla (FTP) itunes outlook (email) photoshop notepad++(text editor) apache(local server setup, testing scripts) vlc(video player) openoffice(like msword) winisd <--don't use that often. I bet winisd would work fine under wine, or VM if worst comes to worst. sony vegas <--occasionally use few video games here and there. All of the above can either be ran natively on linux, or has a direct replacement, except for itunes, photoshop, vegas, and games. There are some decent video editing apps for linux though, and photoshop has been ran under wine with good success. Only things that kept me from going completely linux was the need to run itunes & photoshop. Which both happen to run natively on mac osx. There are Linux alternatives that allow you to sync your idevice with it. Like you would iTunes

The seat hole isnt very big. You may have to remove panels to allow more space. Or you can dO a little bit of hacking to allow more space. On my 2011 I was only able to fit about 10" of height

do you run a desktop or laptop? Personally I'd run RAID. I use 2 different computers and keep all the data on an external HD. I use my office computer to store the backup on the main HD. However, I will have my own computer soon and won't have to move the external around. What exactly is a RAID? "redundant array of independent disks" It is for servers to spray the files out across different hard drives so there is physical back ups and on some cases, faster access too. I run raid on my laptop, just for back up. Most computers come with multiple hdds anyways and is simple to setup. And it's fairly cheap too.
