  1. Sean should know a lot about bikes living in MN nearly everyone does in MN, lots of bike theft too.
  2. Because the alum can handle more power than traditional copper coils, they may be flat wound also.

It doesn't matter how it's shaped, it could be triangle, octagonal, or a square. What matters if it has enough port area, the reason port area is such a big deal is because if you don't have enough you're basically either running a leaking sealed box or you will have terrible port noise (Like schuffing sounds)
  4. I had a problem similar to this, did you replace all of your stock wiring that goes to your battery? if so something could be grounding, and did you disconnect your positive post (stock wiring) on your alt and just leave it there? if so that could be grounding.
  5. Retarded marketing bullshit can sell. Idiots buy when they are misled. Pretty stupid to have 5.1 for content encoded in 2. Of course watching movies in a car is pretty dumb too. Natural selection obviously hasn't worked...yet
  6. 8 gauge is way too large for speaker 12-14 gauge wire should be more than enough

Shape of port typically doesn't matter as long as you have sufficient port area for the woofers the only exception to this is when using Aeroports. With aeroports you can use 30-40% less area and not have any port noise. The 16-18 In^2 is just a rule of thumb you should really look at the exact port area a simple online calculator like (This) will tell you how much you really need... for two 18's you will need at a minimum of 212.6 in^2 of port area. You do not need to worry about Xlim, you will know when your subwoofer is reaching its mechanical limits by listening it is very obvious when it is.
  8. my mother and i went to Fogo de Chao... It is a brazillian grill... and it was FUCKING AMAZING!. It was like a buffet of meat and amazingness 42$ a person isn't too bad either everything was really really really good.
  9. It looks like a throwback to a TC style basket, very sexy, a little bit of black mesh or something over the vents on the side would be hawt. looks good Jacob as always.
  10. welp that's the only thing out there for the time being, if you get another 1500d you could wire them all together but for the time being you cant with an odd number of amplifiers unless you use the maxx-link
  11. and that guy with the Tahoe he could be a lot louder... but doesn't have sufficient port are

  13. anything with eXo or JP is destined to go down in fiery brown poopy flames.
  14. I Agree with helotaxi, even with my limited experience modeling enclosures I can tell you it would act as a port just because it's not meant to be a port doesn't meAn it won't act As a port. Interesting to say the least
  15. You could always add 2x4s to reduce volume. But that would raise tuning
  16. A crimp will always be better than solder, tin + lead = not very conductive. I don't know how people fail to crimp properly, I have had crimps in my car that had been there for years and never came undone... Unless you really wanted them to, and when I said you wanted to you REALLY wanted to get them off you could.
  17. The Jesus one lean had a pretty nice beat but awful none the less
  18. Sexy nonetheless

The term makes no sense. Spl and sq are two different things all together. Same with daily, daily can mean a million things, just as SQL can
