I would talk to Fi, Scott did design all of the woofers for RE... He Is/was RE. It would not be IA Death penalty, it will be a RE XXX with a 21" cone. The motor really makes the woofer, essentially that is the heart and soul.

I left mine, make sure you deaden it all, it'll allow some air flow from the trunk to the cabin.

Similar thing i did, but i typically did the price of the item and knocked a quarter to a half off the paid price, so if something was 100 dollars, i'd sell for 75 or 65.

Uhhuh.. The MB Quart amps are great, I always suggest buying Refurb amplifiers from dB-r, because of the great C/S and great prices. A refurbed Saz-1500 from dB-R is 320 before shipping, when i got my amp shipped from their shop to my house (missouri) it was around 30 dollars.

I'd actually try and call up to dB-r and ask if they do, or can get any.

^^ Agreed, I know for a fact that Alpine doesn't recone woofers, nor do they sell them (Which sucks because i know a kid who wants to give me (4) 15" Type-rs) This randy guy does seem a taaad bit shady.

The sound is exactly the same, IICRC with aeroports you tend to be able to use less port area then a typical slot port.

I agree completely, with SQ it's all based on some guys opinion, there is none (yet) that says "This car had reproduced music better than another car". If someone says to me "Damn! You're setup sounds like shit you need this, this, and this!" I'll either 1. Take it into consideration or 2. Say "shut the hell up". SQ and SPL are two different monsters in themselves, us SPL guys have the TL. We can say, for a fact "My setup is louder than yours" but, with SQ we have someone with "trained ears" saying "oh, this music is better reproduced by this vehicle than yours"

I always buy refurbed stuff, Db-R sells Refurbed sundown's for much cheaper.
