so today at DEP, I arrived about 10 minutes late due to a wrong turn, my command officer told me to get on my face and do 100 push ups, so i did that (which sucked dick) after the 100 pushups in ~100 degree temp with like 90% humidity. My vision began to get blurry and i about blacked out.. Lesson learned? don't be late to DEP, and pushups suck.

They are called torx. The ones in the pics are called tamper proof torx, or security torx, or safety torx. You need to be careful because they do make 5 sided "star" drive screws as well. Ah torx just has one more point in it Either way, they're a pain to get out without the actual bit. learned that in one of my classes at school.

There's some truth to that statement, but how do you think a lot of these "Mainstream" companies started? From a little company catering to Audio Enthusiasts. What if (and I mean when) Sundown becomes mainstream will they be forever labeled as inferior? No, the main purpose of a company is to grow, to profit, and most of all get their name out to the public. Yes, indeed there are some shady companies, but the big names Kicker, MTX, etc all make very high quality amplifiers. It takes a lot of money for Research and Development, for products to be made in america, Etc. So the word "Mainstream" should not be something that is derogatory to a company, but shows how much work they have put into building a quality product. That ends my speech.

yeah he's gonna use factory door speakers but we have the wires ran for an amplifier/sub setup they haven't made harnesses for his truck yet?? what a pain in the ass For my car, 2011 mustang there is no dash kit/ wiring kit. Some options: 1.I say convince him to buy a refurbed sax-100.2 or sax-125.2 and run a comp set, Ditch the rear speakers, get some Bravox speakers and you're set. 2.You can run ALL new speaker wire, then wire it to the HU.

Is he using the factory speakers? If not I would just find a dealers wiring diagram, Find the Negative, Positive, Ignition and use wire taps to tap it all. Then i would run an External amplifier for the speakers. If you can't find a wiring diagram you could always test it for the constant +12v and -12V, then turn the key on and see which one jumps from 12v to 0v. He's lucky, they don't even make a dash kit for my car yet, let alone wiring harnesses.
