with a newer car im worried about is now a days they're (car companies) are putting car data through the factory head unit. and that's kinda a hassle to upgrade to another head unit etc etc.

That's what i've pretty much thought either a blazer or explorer. Well he's deceased so.. you gotta understand lol if you knew him you would know.
  9. looks like it could hold a lion
  10. if i remember correctly Duran told me that Jacob is currently running some proto mids and highs in his Jeep. not quite sure yet though.
  11. Agreed! We're all here.
  12. miss you posting up on here bigjon we got your back! we're countless strong.
  13. i never used an isolator. As Jay-Cee said if you're regularly driving your vehicle and it isn't sitting around for insane amounts of time. You should be ok i had 140+AH in my trunk and i could always start.
  14. why not send it into Scott the one who designed the woofers at RE?
  15. most local shops can do basic boxes. it's not total rocket science. basic L port and some carpet with a whole in the face of it.
  16. Just because you can doesn't mean you have to.
  17. I would agree, half the stuff i have learned was from Sean, he does come off as kind of dick. But do you learn from someone who is hard on you and gives you factual answers or do you learn from someone who nurtures you and doesn't challenge you?
  18. x2 high 160's like 163 ithink at the time was his highest, i can't remember but i think it was atleast 20k in total if i remember right each were getting about 1666rms each
  19. A Saz-1500 would be more appropriate for the Level 4 XL. Going from 1500-2000 watts you will not hear an audible difference. If you don't know how to run a sub over its rms rating i wouldn't. like Jay-Cee said there are a lot of factors to consider. You can get a refurbished 1500 from Db-r for a very reasonable price for a very high quality amplifier.
  20. They handle up to 1500 watts, just because the power handling says 1500 watts doesn't mean you have to power it all that way.
  21. Each sub? You won't get a Nightshade, Warden, or MT for $250 each. I wish you good luck, i highly doubt you would be able to find any reputable subwoofer that handles 3k daily for less than 500 dollars.
  22. he could make an underbody battery rack like smd did
  23. double layered 1/2 or double 3/4 works too. you can go to lumbar yards and buy 1 inch from there too.
