i know for sure atleast 6k i have a 260 amp alt already and rob said he'd modify it to my next vehicle for around 50 bucks or so. i would love a tc but has to be American if i want part of it paid by my parents . so around 9-12k for is my price range

actually i would suggest Knukonceptz product detail for KLARITY 2 CHANNEL RCA KABLE 5M unless you're going for a certain look. the KLMX wire is great wire, it's what i run. what kind of woofer do you have?
  4. It's not true, because "better grade" (i.e. fancy and expensive) RCA's are unnecessary anywhere in the system. I agree, but i know people who would object that opinion lol. As long as you keep your RCA's away from your power wires you should be just fine.

yeah i'm trying to get loud but want a good daily car. I was looking into a Scion TC but they're not made by an american company (grandfather worked for ford for many years) any other vehicles good for daily and good for getting loud in? and as in two doors i meant non suvs such as cars like Monte Carlos etc.

I'm looking for some suggestions on a new car, has to be american owned company, hatchback would be best, maybe a suv. Nothing too big though nothing bigger than a Ford Explorer. Also two door would be great. I could use some suggestions. thank you Julian
  8. I agree with the whole vibe. I was getting a box made for my old Fi Bl 15 i called a shop called Max Speed And Sound they were extremely down putting. They said my saz-3000d wouldn't do rated etc etc, but i called a place called N.W. audio and they were great, friendly nice etc.
  9. why ruin the nice rumble of a huge engine and the beautiful sound? gotta love that muscle.
  10. Proper deadening I believe would be a better phrase to use. Yes, Proper deadening. If the car is worth giving it a nice exhaust i don't think it needs a system. (IMO) but i think this only applies to muscle cars. in general stock cars with loud exhausts are just obnoxious
  11. It's going to be awesome!
  12. as long as they're shielded you should be okay, you may get an engine whine if they're lower quality. for RCA's for an amp i would suggest the Knukonceptz product detail for KLARITY 2 CHANNEL RCA KABLE 5M they're GREAT and CHEAP. switched from some Scocshe which whined and buzzed to these and they fixed the problem Sundowns were having problems with some expensive brands so Jacob recommends some cheap ones, I was using some from Autozone with no problems and then upgraded them to KnuKonceptz Klarity with no problems. butt hole! you beat me to it, mine was to long winded hehe and also im *preeety* sure that only applied to strapping amps between the two. i'm not quite sure though

  15. I know where you live.... as we all do....
  16. tak to Denim or get in contact with SSA themselves, and ask them if they can beef it up. But, if you don't have the self control i wouldn't give you anything if i were. you're just asking for trouble. either sell the Icons and buy a bigger sub, or control yourself.

  18. you could but you would need EXCESSIVE deadening.
  19. stop huffing it, it's bad for you
  20. where were the LED's connected to? on the board or did you wire it to something else?
  21. if the BTL's wont work for you look into the Xcons, they work great sealed or ported.
  22. Julian replied to flipzslick's topic in Build Logs
making a huge slot port is fairly easy...

the d2's can form a load of either 1 ohm or 4 ohms d1's can only forum .5 ohms and 2 ohms universal widens the gap so it can take either the 1 or 4 ohm load.
  24. Second that, as long as the coil hasn't been disturbed you should be okay.
