Typically prefab boxes are deplorable at best, building or getting a box built to the specifications of your woofer is much better than buying a prefab box.

the foam will help a lot also when i turned my box 360 degrees and made the woofers face towards the front of my car the rattled stopped a lot and didnt rattle as much.

you could maybe, spread the silicone glue out so you dont see a bead.

Personally, i've never liked endcaps; at all. i think they're obnoxious to take off and put back on if you're adjusting things. any amp that has come with endcaps; they have ended up with the endcaps in my trash or floating around my house.
