  1. From my experience, subs up port up is a good SUV style box. Like the one in my avatar picture. It sounds good and gets very loud.
  2. You would just have to test different boxes to see. What part of Louisiana are you from?
  3. What do you think SQ is? Why would it being loud make it loose SQ? What's it going in?
  4. Ok......... Whats woofers? What amps?
  5. bobo!! It's wfhs52 off YouTube. What's up?
  6. What's your goal for the system? How much power? What's it going in?
  7. It has alot to do with the vehicle. We need to know at least that to help at all.
  8. Well if it's on the order form then it's for real and for sale. Great price too!!
  9. ok my head unit is 2.5 volts my amplifier has a switch to set between 1-2volts and to the right it says 2to8volts.. i have it turned to the left would that be right?? and my input level is about 70 percent turned up.. becuase any lower and the signal dissapears.. Can you show me a picture of the settings on the amp? And which input level?
  10. It's about how the gain is set, if it is matched to you H/U then clipping won't be an issue. If's it's just turned all the way up then yeah it will.
  11. Probably because you're likely clipping the amp with too high of a gain or bass boost, which sends more power than 900 watts to the sub. At full clip it could be near double that. Also, moving to an Fi section since this is just a question, no hello. welll the FI Q i bout is fully upgraded.. dont know how to explain.. bought the upgrade so it could handle an additional 500 rms watts.. so the sub should be good for 1500 wrms so the sub should be good right even if i turn the bass knob that came with the amplier all the way up right?? Not if your clipping the signal, then no it won't be great. what do you mean by clipping the signal?? sorry im "Clipping is a form of waveform distortion that occurs when an amplifier is overdriven and attempts to deliver an output voltage or current beyond its maximum power capability. Driving an amplifier into clipping may cause it to put out power in excess of its published ratings"

  13. I got me a older lady so it's all good.
  14. Made some good progress tonight. Got both doors matching and both speaker things cut out.
  15. VIDEOS NOW
  16. It's a very tough woofer............................ My God. I quit.
  17. :-O Freakin TINY
  18. Lofty goals for your first setup. I'd suggest something smaller first. That way you don't end up destroying a lot of expensive equipment your first go around. x2 He is 100% right. I know all about that. My first system that wasn't "Kicker based" I ended up cooking a woofer QUICK.
  19. Nope, it's the same now as it was when he had it. It plays most games well. Get in chat.
  20. Wrong!! It's your fault....... I blew on of my RE MT 18"s with less than 2k, it is WELL known MT's can handle 4k+ rms easily and I still popped the coil. It was all MY fault with the gain and volume. I couldn't blame the amp, and neither can you. Once you get it all correct you won't need to help keep it cooler, it will just stay cooler.
  21. what db would u expect with this set up? There are ALOT of variables in what determines a vehicles SPL level. There is NO possible way to guess. What is your friends goal? What does he want out of his system?
  22. Exact same one I have. I wouldn't mind more power, but it works fine. In your "gaming" computer? That I got for FREE It WAS a gaming computer, or as he used it. I use it for music and interwebz. That is all lol
  23. Exact same one I have. I wouldn't mind more power, but it works fine.
  24. I'd love to add a second monitor, I've got the card for it. Just need a monitor for the same price I got this one lol Paid $100 for my 22" monitor I have now. Dual 22"s, or even triple 22"s would be SEXY.
  25. Also has alot to do with the woofer. For some reason, I doubt the Warden is a real good choice for a flat response system.
