I don't think the lighting it self makes the loud noise, it is the displaced air moving back into it's original place and as the air hits itself it creates thunder.... I think that's right.

Get the D2, and run it in parallel at 1 ohm. 12 awg would be fine hehe I think i saw something somewhere about that... is there a 3500 coming too? and doesn't he want 2.... so D1's series/parallel for 1 ohm? and I'd go 8 gauge ( jus kidden) They are all coming. Doesn't it make you wonder how many subs it would take to do that as you drove by some ones house? NO. I could give a fuck less, my music is for me. It is totally necessary, if the wire gets cut id would just continually short. Fuses in the amp dont stop that. anytime I have had/seen a main fuse pop, all the fuses on the amp does as well. I don't feel like explaining, go cut your amp power wire and touch it to metal and see what happens. I'd rather not...... I understand what your saying...... But if you do everything right...... or rightish..... you should have to worry about that kind of stuff. Would suck to get in a car wreck and be burned alive because you didn't fuse your amp power wire. It sure would......... i see what you saying.

If you are willing to spend the money a new alt would be best. But another battery would help, wire it..... Front battery + to rear battery + and front battery - to rear battery -
