Do you have some over all specs on the new enclosure? Beyond just measurements?

I've done them both. My friends walls we're built outside the trucks then slid in, sealed at the B-Pillar, and secured in place. Then I built my wall inside the PT, as it would be to big to build then slide it in.

They are local to me. They don't do internet forums really. If he only has an enclosure for 10"s then there is a reason. That there isn't enough room for properly ported 12"s under the seat.

Try wiring one amp to one sub-woofer no strapping or anything. Just gain match them and see what happens. Do not use that Maxx-Link. Throw it away.

Your probably pulling WAY more current the the electrical can dream of supplying. So the amp protect when they don't get what they need. Clamp them, that's the only way to know. And think about it, with two @.5, say you have 3x rise.. So starting @.5 would go to 1.5ohm. Still kinda low. But starting the amps at 1ohm, they go to 3ohm. Not much power at all......

That low, you have to SLOWLY roll into the burp with some amps. All depends on Impedance rise, voltage drop, and current availability. There are some more things that come into effect but I'll go into that later.

I am 90% sure no Kenwood/JVC unit can do Active in any form.
