It could very well be that the woofer closest to the port is unloading on the high notes making it do funky shit. How much power do you have? Do you have any current pictures of the enclosure and it's surroundings?

Any sub can play anything. Simple as that. Its all about enclosure. Just like my MT's play music when a lot of people think they won't. ;-)

Rate the 100.4 @1%THD. I bet it's output jumps a good bit.

New 125.4 is rated @1% THD. 100.4 was at 0.1%THD.
