Whether its apples to oranges or not, its what Fi/AA faces as competition. Some of their competition is SA, DD, IA and DD. All of which will do a recone in less that 40 days and dont have near the low reputation for customer service that they have. From rear battery to amp you don't really need a fuse as the wire will be very short. I'll use my own setup as an example. See in this photo how short the power wires are? What part of the car could possibly short that out?

If you had the option you should have done Dual 4ohm. Run the amps at 1ohm each, much less strain on the system. Running .5 pulls ALOT more current for not a lot more output, and what is more output is usually dirty power.

This will be a brief step by step break down on how to set your gain on your Sundown amplifier if your radio has a 6v or higher output, as multiple radios do these days. Step 1: Turn gain on amplifier to minimum. Done. .......... I was thinking it over the other night, and I remembered my SAZ-2000's gain had a "minimum" setting of 6v. I knew my radio did 8v output through the RCA's. So today I went and turned my gain all the way down and turned my sub level up on the radio, and sure enough it was just as loud but has an overall cleaner output, also what seemed to be more output, and more punch then before. But this aroused another question, if the "gain knob" that plugs into the amp went from the "minimum" setting to where you had it set, how would this work if the amp was set to "minimum". So not 10 minutes ago I connected a Sundown "gain knob" to the amp and tested it out. And after only 5 clicks on the knob it was at full volume. Just thought I would share.
