  1. I'd go bang either his sister or mom. Depending on who is hotter. That would make you feel better.
  2. Have you messed with the T/A yet? a little bit, i have the speakers set so that the "center" is just to the right of the driver's seat. with how i drive my head is not centered with my headrest. my main problem is that i have a problem with my left ear that my hearing isn't the greatest. i had my girlfriend sit in the seat how i do and then tuned it to her hearing. she was sitting on 3 books to get her to my height haha. i'm 6'3", she's 5'7". after driving my blazer and then my mom's envoy (same stock setup basically) i noticed huge difference's and i love mine. the tweeters of mine warmed up and sounds much better but i'm lacking a lot of mid bass now so we'll see what happens Try dropping your HPF down a little or changing the slope.
  3. If you knew what I paid for mine with the iPod adapter. lol Which you still owe some money for... Man, I paid you with the Asian Whore. Wahh? She never showed up! Dude for real?! I paid that UPS guy $10 extra to warm her up for you and everything.
  4. Since you have lots of space to work with, wire your woofers to a "normal" impedance, and make your enclosure on the large side to increase efficiency. He already has the D2 woofers, so options are 2ohm and .5ohm. 2ohm will disappoint him I'm sure. I think you should build a large 4th order of Duran's design to utilize as much of the woofer as you can at .5ohm. Just keep a close eye on your voltage. Thank you sir ,very good advice. if i buy a second 2000d can i use one on each sub to run them at 1 ohm?? or how does it work? im deff getin the ho alt, and a couple more batteries. 4th order for sure ! If you get a second 2000 you can strap the amps together with the woofers wired at 2ohm. That will put each amp at 1ohm.

  7. I see what you did with your user name.
  8. From what I've gathered it sounds like your amp is messed up. Get another 1000w amp and test it in your car.
  9. Need more power.
  10. Why are you doing 4 15"s sealed? Defeats the purpose really.

  12. Because we want louder? Lets each spend $3000 on the same stuff, I'll run my way you run the way the manufactures suggest we will see who is louder.
  13. Dude, enough with your family history.
  14. I feel it is needed that it is mentioned that my 3,000w and your 3,000w may be two different beasts altogether. I run my two db Drive 1,500's at .4ohm each daily, and get drops into the 12's. When I ran a D9 at .8ohm it never went below 13.2 but was louder. Amperage draw is more then just the power you make.
  15. OMG HIS FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahhahahahahaha
  16. I am no longer a total noob and Duran is a MOD!!
  17. do you think i should get the 1700 or 1400?? 1,700
  18. It's kicking my ass. Who will help me understand it better?

  20. You need to watch what you say. Go spend $2000 and never get anything from it. You'd be happy right?
  21. If you have to ask, then you shouldn't do it.
  22. Not exactly, even if you take that into consideration, strand count only matters for flexibility, and welding cable is still just as flexable. Strand count is more important then that, the electrons flow OVER the wire, so the more wire there is to flow over, the more energy that will be transferee faster.
