my buddy had me design a box for 4 icon 12's and i was wondering how this would work. box would be tuned to 28hz external: 17x38x41 internal: 14x33x38 port: 5x14 (20 long) (firing back) double baffel going into an explorer keeping the second row and running on a 3000d or 3500d (he said he was gonna try and find a 3000d used in good shape) and box would end up at about 8.78cubft after all displacement. the top and back parts were just there for me to get an image in my head. any suggestions? think it'll sound good? port nose problems? just tell me how ya feel i guess lol also, please check my math on tuning ect. if you dont mind

i kinda have a budjet, i'd like to stay cheap and save as much as i can. im not competing or anything just a daily driver so it doesn't have to be the best i just dont wanna wasit my money on unreliable stuff. i've never had a four door. so not sure on the rear fill thing. i want to put speakers in all 4 doors, possibly run 2 6.5s up front (each door) and run 1 (each door) in the back? i'd have to get a second amp though.

im planing on putting 2 icon 15's in the back of my explorer... what kinda mids and highs would i need to keep up with the bass? i've only done like small setups before so im not sure what kinda speakers i need, i dont have much of a price range, just wanna make sure my money is spent well and not something crappy. i wanna run them to a sundown 100.4. and suggestions? (btw all the door speakers are 6x8's) thank you for the help

hmm... i beleive the alt puts out about 130amps... i think but thats all i know. obviously still have to upgrade the batteries but would that be enough? also powermaster alts? would i decend one of those work? like 150 to 200?

thanks guys that sounds good... i doubt the d3100 will fit so ill get a smaller one and put it under the hood and use the d3100 as the extra. i was looking at the mechman 250 would that be too much for the batteries or anything like that? and i've been reading and only thing i've heard about mechman is good.

i want to run (once the saz 3500) a 3500. i was wondering what electrical i would need to do. obviously the big 3 but what kinda alternator and batteries would i need? (also will have a saz100.4 for the doors)

does it work better? more power? or something like that. i've always only have one sub at a time so i've always ran just one amp lol.

well since the box from fisher customs loaded is like 700 i would like to stay around 700

i was thinking about getting 2 icon 12s and i was wondering what would be a good amp to run them? i would like to stay cheap but i want a good quality amp. it probably be in the loaded enclosure from fisher customs. so the specs of that box

What coil configuration did you get Dual 1 or Dual 2? Also their rated at 1000rms but could do a little extra due to them being underrated. IMO you have about 2500rms to play with safely. I cant recommend you anything without knowing what ohms they are. dual 1
