  1. indeed if you overlook the overratedness of the xterminator series (off the box) they are very very solid great-sounding amps.

NP. I think its a 2005 or 2006 model. It does not have the gunmetal color you have shown somewhere else on this forum. gotcha!

for the heat sink fins they ARE used for cooling. i would give them some space i dont konw the ratings of the xterminators anymore lol but for now yea, expect round 180@2 as for the line driver, i dont have much xperience with them but when i did run one i turned the gains on the driver down and i was fine.
  8. link to the auction? you can still link after it ends. lol ream.
  9. excellent...almost done planning. would .5" be sufficient between the pole vent and the wall of the enclosure?
  10. yea looks like more and more they are turning usamps/re into a mainstream brand...but thats where the money is

this will be up in the reviews section and your concerns as well as your praises will be brought to the attention of teh peeps at usamps.. btw was this a 2007 AX5600 or a previous version? thanks for the great review man!
  14. a profile from them was my very first amp. I ran it with an infinity perfect DVQ. it was great. sucker never got hot. One good experience and your amp not getting hot does not make them good amps. Out of all people I am surprised you feel that way, pull the cover and have a look for yourself and then you won't recommend them anymore. For the same dough used is WAY better. sounded great to my ears (well maybe it would have sounded better with a different amp), actually one of the tightest sounding system i had....again maybe it was the sub...there have been many other people who have used them on ca.com (yea i know lol). but the guts aint THAT bad: maybe because it was my first amp i feel (forgot that word)
  15. maybe try switching out your RCA's?
  16. a profile from them was my very first amp. I ran it with an infinity perfect DVQ. it was great. sucker never got hot.
  17. well its only 300w but profile is good for the price...too bad they stopped selling the CA600M: http://www.profilecaraudio.com/amplifiers.htm either the BA400 or BY400
  18. edit: spoke too soon. i dont know anything for 5 bills that fit your needs thats some quality
  19. hehe. didn't get a pm??
  20. not a flame or anything, but if you want to take up-close pictures, theres a fuction on our digi cam thats called "macro" usually marked by a flower. it allows your camera to focus on things close to the lense. set it to macro, turn off your flash, get some good lighting, snap away edit: OH and thanks for your advice on the alt
  21. yea you need to ground all 3 rca outputs. I believe if you ground your HU, your noise will go away, could be wrong tho. but try what ///M5 said first before you take any action... I'm running mine off a Kenwood deck, everything hooked up normally (no special grounding precautions) and theres no noise.
  22. just what they call their hybrid system..we drove 225 miles last night on a quarter tank, lol...crazyness wow thats super sweet.
