  1. 16, 17 in July with my chops and MDF dust in my hair you woud thing i was a middle aged man in great shape.
  2. My name is chris and i like cheeze. its true, check my myspace account http://www.myspace.com/cbfryman
  3. wasnt even a matter of warranty. it was a matter of he probebly didnt like my tone of voice and didnt feel like dealing with the issue. RE and Ascendnat are the two companies i would say have the best phone CS as fatr as companies ive delt with. I could be hot as a cow who had just been branded calling up RE and even if i had bought the product second hand from an unauthorized dealer after it would have gone out of warranty anyway and i burnt the coils and was blameing them they would still offer a way to resolve the issue. not "yeah, that person isnt an authorized dealer, so i cant do anything for you" im not saying USamps doesnt ever have good CS. im saying my experence was despicable and uncalled for the first go'round when i posted this topic. It wasnt my first intention to even contact Jeremy as it wasnt his fault and i already felt like he had done enough holding the amp for me in the first place. He did what a great seller would do and went out of his way to get it resolved for me, with that i thank him. My dad owns a business dealing with comptuer sales and service along with networking, provided you are a business or government funded oranization. Even if a caller is stupid enough to skip that whole part of our add in the yellow pages which is in big blue print, call us anyway, and wants us to come out to a privet residence we will STILL help them out by giving them a reference to a business which does decent work in the same feild, only for homes. IF they have a question we will gladly answear it, even if they are a privet residence or a business who is not a customer and even if they are so pissed they just smashed the front of their screen in and broke the vacume tubes. We had a Secretary for 3 weeks, after 3 weeks of doing a piss poor job she was let go. Now, the issue has been resloved, i have nothing more to add to this thread and im sure no one else does either. It should be closed/left to die simply so someone who happens uppon it while pondeirng USamps CS will see my experence.
  4. Normally i would put this in the SPL forum but they dont move very fast. Im looking at Inviminator's new 187's, Used LI's, a single SX 15 and then there is a possibilty for an older Magnum SI. We are talking a structly SPL set up with around 1kw of power to deal with. im going to be running an Amature Street 1 with MECA and Street B with dB drag. Which has more SPL potential and room for error?
  5. im not going to say customer service is spot on or anything other than what i said in the first place. Had their service been spot on i wouldnt have been blown off. Resloved, yes, but only after having to go back through Jeremy, which never should have happened inthe first place.
  6. i called RE, got a good answear, i was informed that unless the person aligning the coil is an engineer in the feild hte gap may be misaligned or the driver may not work at all. $155+ shipping to them is a steep price though.
  7. x2 i dont even know where people go the idea that power cables introduced noise into RCA cables. your frame is just as big of a conducor as your power cable. most noise is ground loop and alternator noise.
  8. Dog pics are teh roxor. RIP Pepermint (yes her name was pepermint, i was 5 when i named her)
  9. what do you all think about a pair of poly's in door pods .4cu@50Hz? i really need to drop the xover frequincy of my sub, it sounds sooo much better with the xover at like 50hz not having to deal with the 60&up stuff. no way im going to be able to run the IB in my doors with 11.5 mm of excursion. the RE mids are crashing into my door panels on a good kick drum hit and they have 10mm i think and im only giving them 30w or so. i really need to look into a new alternator and battery soon. worlds weridest b-day present, no?
  10. most mercedies and BMW medium-large 4 door sedans.
  11. car: 2000 Mazda B3000 ext Cab 4dr Electrical: 1/0 Big 3 Amps: Hifonics BX1205D Subs: Ascendant Audio Avalanche 18 Box: 6cuft @ 28Hz Mic: Audio Controll Tone: 38Hz Score: 144.x Ont the dash, truck sealed up w/ new box im hoping for similar numbers on Term Lab, louder w/ higher tuning and high 140's with my comming SPL set up that's going in over the summer.
  12. i say RL-i 10, Fiberglass box, and assuming a FWD car put behind the rear wheels on the passenger side for autoX, and passnger side infront of the rear wheels for drag. Unless he is uber seriosu 30-35lbs sub+ enclosure isnt gonna hurt even 0.1sec and for auto X i wouldnt even worry as most track balenced and handleing is more important than 35lbs. for my friends tiburon where where gonna do 4 tang band 6.5's ported and fiberglased, we expected it to weigh lesst han 50lbs but he skimped out on cash at the last moment.
  13. i wish the vacuem leak on my EGR valve would do that...lol.

i can pass as 21 in dark resterants... and beef's
  15. i have experence with 3512's.... loud a phuck....that is about all my working experence with DD. listening experece, none that ive heard sound bad, not SQ drivers, butnot bad IMO. not for daily beating.
  16. want high voltage, use the speaker outs and solder RCA female ends on them.
  17. speaking of AA SIN, dropped their forum. i geuss AA is only good for CS over the phone. lol.
  18. Well i bit the bullet and im buying used CD player. Eclipse 3400. while insalling my IS2080 i found my surounds on my RE mids where comming unglued and the coens where dry rotting. IE poor build quality though they sound great. one of the cones has actually begun to split with the extra power. So im going to have to get new mids, im planning on eventualyl going active so i'd like a good pair of 6.5's that have strong midbass, around 100w RMS or less, work well IB or sealed, and would integrate with me RE tweeters and overs for the time being.
  19. i dont mind. It was a #2 screw head. The screws are cross threaded. Had no problems with the other like 8 scres. end caps wher eeasy to get off with mine
  20. like i siad. Great dude. ill give them a call tomarrow, ask for JR, and hopefully get some screws to me. If not i'll contact you via PM. Now i just have to figure out how to get the screws that are in it out.

i vote leather. not smoothed, rough, like gloves.
  22. this is by no means Flakko's fault. Flakko is a great guy and a great seller. Flakko, like i said i dont think i heard a name. If you get this sorted out you are awsome x eleventeen.
  23. gotcha, now are yo urefering to the TC9 with SX's or the e12a cone/coil?
  24. dont know the guy was so quick to get me off the phone i didnt even have time to gather my thoughts on the matter. it as liek a 30sec phone call including time for htem to pick up.
  25. Shawn's been doing recones since '02 or '03, he is an RE dealer, or is in the process, what im talking about with the e12a is, because recones are impossible to find, take the current cone/coil out, remove the spider and replace the surround and take the TC9, put it on an 18" with SX soft parts, give/sell the e12a cone/coil to someone that has one rotting because its blown.
