depends on the individual vehicle. Apply mass to any panel that flexes alot. Follow manufactures instructions on apply the mass (ie deadener) wether it be mat, spray, paint, or w/e. Most doors could use a good deaden. Trunk lids, Hatches Wheel wells Back of the cab (pick ups) Roof (big with pick ups and SUV's) Floor Firewall (more for engine noise reduction) etc...

WHATS UPP!!! Second Skin = great stuff. 2hrs to install 2 layres all over my truck and 3 in some places on the back wall. its alot quieter in the cab and, more importantly, when all doors and windows are closed you can barely hear there the bass outside....of course yo ucan tell its wanging because the door is vibrating agianst the jam and the back glass mvoes like a mofo, 3-4 layres right below the back glass, however, made it move alot less even though im noticibly louder with the new enclosure and all. Midbass is now better keeping up with the highs but neither are keeping up with the Ava... so when Flakko gets me the IS2080 and i get off my ass i hope that will change some. 2 layres and happy, plus all the little trims got slapped on randomly. Amanda even helped me out Told Ya, looks sweet when it hits a nice 20Hz tone and moves close to 2" and yo ucan see the coil moving Vids when i can.

well my friends is an 04 V6 GT I will guarontee you that vehicle has a high assed FS even w/o deadener...just becaus its stock infinity 8, when playing sight sweeps on a bass CD, that car was "ok" for a stock system right up untill around mid-high 40's-mid 50's where it was "good " as far as loudness for stock then it dropped off and was sorta flat till 100Hz where the sweep quit. Panels where resonating the most in that point and all. If he has the flip up deck like my friends removing it alone will gian him some SPL. i dunno what kind of hatch flex they have since my friend doenst have a system in his but if yo ufan reduce hatch flex you will gain some SPL. face the woofers up and the ports to the back is generally best for hatches, brace brace brace the enclosure but w/o restricting airflow (double up on MDF or w/e yo ucan) and resin the inside, bolt it down tight. and give it all the power you can for burps.

What year? if its like my freind i'd recocmend a CRX style box, start with a 45Hz tuning and work your way up and remove that thing that seperates the "Trunk" fro mthe rest of the car (the car is a hatch back but there is a deck that lifts when you upen the hatch).

dont be a pansy. i had energy to continue after a 3hr drove from orlando turned into a 5hr one thanks to taking a wrong turn and realizing it just in time for rush hour on a monday. jesus. trying to navigate orlando rush hour with a sail boat in the back and nothing but D12 to keep me company. lol.
