18" RL-p under production
At least you beefed up the motors for the 18...other companies just let them fly. Sounds good.

Speaker bs...
ROE is running rampid with morons. Take what most of them say as a grain of salt in your decision. BL, though a factor in how a driver acts, is taken at rest position and means little once the coil starts moving very far from rest position. I'm not saying the Q is better than what ever TC you are speaking of...but you can only play a T/S parameter game to a cetian point. That especially holds true with parameters that change with coil movement.

Crown n' coke is good too. I still like Bacardi & Cola better. Jack in Sweet Tea....mmmmm IMO coke's original recepie should have included rum. I dont really like the taste unless it has rum in it.

New Mag Enclosure
Overhead, it is a must. This box is the same volume and tuning and almost the same port area (a little more actually). I wouldnt think moving the drivers would hurt SQ all that much. Besides, I want to be in the 150 club either way. Right now I'm 3dB shy. I could be wrong but wouldnt moving the drivers togather make them act more like a single woofer...which is what you want both for your ears and for the Mic. Moving them further along the baffle is just for wave path differences where the sensor is placed.

Wow what a scare!
You could even pick up one of Jacob's used or damaged ones with full warranty.

New Mag Enclosure
Personally it is a lot more exciting than dB Drag. Almost every match at a decent competition is something worth watching. dB Drag you just go Fart...look there is my number. Next guy farts and his number is either higher or lower. Unless they are close and then everyone sits on the car they want to win and he burps agian to try and gain a tenth or two it's like "ok...wow." Bassrace, on the otherhand, is an average for the full 30sec so the competitors are constantly working their systems trying to get a perfect 1XX.9. On top of that, you can have a system that retains 100% SQ and still compete compedetively. I absolutely love the SQ of my system and I am quite compedetive in my class.

Thanks Ryan. I have a few ideas mixing. This is the idea Casey has suggested. I need to find someone who does bassrace with a Mini that will talk...

New Mag Enclosure
That is just Google Sketch. It is a free program similar to old 3D CAD programs that ran in DOS. What I'm looking for here is SPL gain. If it didnt matter I'd be a lot more simple. In trucks subs up port side or subs forward port up is considered loudes. Just like in hatches subs up port back and subs forward port back are considered loudest.

New Mag Enclosure
The only problem I have with it is the port will be unloading about 4 1/2" away from the side of the truck. This is a 7 1/2" port mind you. I'd like to get some opinions on wether or not I should go through with it or move back to an upfiring port and move the mags on the baffle to as far on the passenger as I can get them and make the box completely rectangular.

Liquor! Clear rum = Bacardi Superior Spiced rum = Captian Morgan Vodka = Smirnoff, Sky, Absolute Whiskey = Jack Tequila = Good ol' 1500 That is my personal preference from the small selection I've had... almost all vodka taste the same to me. Beer! ''Imported'': Kalik, Guinness, Corona Extra, Red Stripe Domestic: Budwiser Select, Icehouse, Heinkein (is domestic now) Bacardi and Cola = Very Much FTW

voltages needed for sae-1000D and bridged 100.4 @ 4
I would really like an 100.4 but I would also really like a Hobie Cat...I think Hobie won in my head. But yes 325w per channel is a lot. Now, what you have created is a lot of power overhead. This is a really good thing for you in the SQ department. Say you set your gains for a maximum RMS with a 0dB sine wave for 100w. Now at your normal listening level you are using say 30w RMS with a 0dB sine wave. This means you can handle wave that has 13dB peaks with out any distortion at all. Where as if you where using a 30w RMS amp for the same level of output it can only handle 3dB peaks with out any distortion...in otherwords...monotone synthesized beats.

What competition assocation do you prefer???
I got fed up with dB Drag last night....but that was LB's audio (some buddies of mine) hired someone to be set up by 3 and they didnt even pull into the emenince/6x9 in the grille fest untill after 5. But that is one instance. I still say dB Drag is the most fair but hardest to win in...but that just makes you a little more proud of your trophies.

TC vs FI
Avalanche's are some of the best SQ woofers I've heard.

Alcohol is fun when it taste good, being chitfaced/hammered is not. Other things are fun too...but thoes arent legal here.

$150 range?

TC vs FI
for $720 you could have had two Avalanche 18's with change left over. You just would have worked to get them. over 8l of linear displacement.

The Towncar (with updates)
The leads are shaped weird. They arc up and then drop straight. So far I havent had a problem with them.
